Maybe they were all taking dramamine and didnt get seasick during the overture. Maybe they were raving because they made it through the first act and didnt walk out.....yet


To seek revenge may lead to hell yet everyone does it but seldom as well......

I saw it Saturday night. I knew nothing of the original. Although, its not flawless, My whole group really enjoyed it. Personally, the transitions weren't as crisp as they should be. Harry, wasn't stiff at all. The music is lovely and the cast was great. The costumes were a bit much like the trunk from "Good Times", But, i never leave humming sets and costumes.

I see most shows with my friend Jeff, and he writes rather detailed reviews of them for his blog. I'm going to start posting them from time to time in these threads, after the opening night bustle of activity has died down.

When I saw it it was about 50/50 in response. Some people were standing and cheering and some were just quietly sitting in their sits and clapping. But they all seemed to enjoy it. No one left in a humph.
