Hello all - A friend of mine is getting married and her wedding theme is Broadway and each table name is the name of a show. We thought it would be great to have Playbills on the tables as the table markers. Does anyone know where I can buy Playbills? I live in NYC if there's a store, or can buy them online (though I have looked and they are quite pricey online). Here's the list of shows I need them for: Rent Jersey Boys Grease Sweeny Todd Annie Mamma Mia Chicago Little Shop of Horrors Beauty and the Best Singin In the Rain Mary Poppins Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory Wicked
Are you concerned with having original cast playbills or just the artwork with the playbill logo above? Because a lot of these shows you kind find cheaper but the playbill would feature replacements and not the original performer.
Ebay is a good place to look. If you aren't exactly picky about covers or casts, you can get some reasonably priced ones.

That's a cute idea! The best thing I can recommend is eBay, but it may be expensive or difficult for some of those shows (like Rent or Willy Wonka). I have an extra Mary Poppins Playbill that I'd be willing to send.
I was wondering though: Have you considered just using print-outs of the Playbill cover? You could probably find almost all of them in a large file size (not the Playbill.com one) or find people willing to scan the Playbill covers for you. For example, I have a few that I could just scan a high-res of:
Annie Chicago (though there are tons of different covers for this) Mary Poppins Wicked
... just an idea. PM me if you're interested though in the Mary Poppins one (no charge), or want scans!
Lolivove, that's definitely an option, but would love to try and get actually Playbills if possible. More authentic I guess. That's so nice of you to offer your Mary Poppins playbill. I would love it! Do you want to email me offline and we'll figure out the best way for me to pick it up (if you're in NYC) or just have you mail it to me (I would of course reimburse you for shipping)
I have plenty of RENT and Wicked playbills. Do they have to be Broadway? Most of my Playbills are from tours. If you would like some I would be happy to send them as long as you cover the shipping. Also Ill be in NYC this weekend and next Weekend, so you could pick them up from me if you want. Let me know
If you're in NYC, you can probably go to the theaters of the shows that are still running, and if you ask nicely at the box office, they may be able to give you one.
Yeah since you live in NYC, for the shows that are open, just go to the theater and ask if you can have (or offer to buy) one. For shows that are closed - they'll be all over ebay for a couple dollars if you don't care about the cast.
