Went to game 4 last night (Halloween) with my husband. Had tailgate party beforehand and enjoyed a bottle of prosecco. Spoke with Jesse Orosco for a bit before the gates opened.
Very excited crowd, roaring non-stop, hilarious costumes, everyone having fun. Then the Mets blew it in every way possible, pitching, fielding, hitting. They should have won this one as well as game one. They have the pitchers to take the next three. But will they? Watching tonight at home in pj's, warm robe, and comfy socks.
well it was fun while it lasted, but the Mets basically failed to close out three(3) games this World Series. I hope they get all the necessary pieces to return in 2016.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
And that would a "no." Very sad ending to this year's Mets. They had so much momentum going for them. Fans brought the stadium back to life. Looked like the Mets were going to take it all. In the end, they did themselves in, blowing leads when it appeared they had games in hand.
I'm so disappointed. They lost because of careless errors and laziness.... Matt Harvey shouldn't have pitched the ninth inning. Cespedes kicking the ball in the outfield and Daniel Murphy during Game 4... sigh. There are 16 incidents of a team losing the World Series and then winning the very next year, let's hope the Mets become the 17th next year.

Many moons ago the loss would have bothered me, but for some reason I was kind of, "oh well" regarding this series. I just can't believe how the Mets imploded in games 2 and 5.
