Just for those who follow- I got here at 6:40 and am 7th in line. At 7:30 there are 14. Still same system- 20 rush tickets, each person can buy two each then something like $50 partial view for the leftovers in line. Also across the street- Les Mis Rush has 10 people in it as of 7:30.
Rushed this morning, Friday 8/12. Got there at 6:19am and we were 2nd and 3rd in line. The next couple got there at 6:45am, and by 7am there were 9 people. Eventually the line was packed. Good luck !
Rushed this morning, 8/17, for the matinee. Got there around 7:00 and was 10th or 11th in line. By the time the box office opened, it looked like there were 40+ people. Got two seats in the boxes.
No Heather today though Literally the only reason I wanted to go back (as remarkable as Cynthia is), but I had already waited in line too long to turn them down.
I think this is the week Headley's on vacation? Did you get to see Rema Webb as Shug? I wonder if Webb & Carla Stewart are splitting the performances this week?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
After I did the Matilda rush 12/4 at 10 am, I walked by and there was one person waiting at The Color Purple. The box office opens at noon on Sunday. Honestly, with the weather like it is in the 30's, it's hard to imagine doing rush.
Hoping to rush this next week - any reports on what it's been like lately? I know people were getting there pretty early over the summer but I wonder if the cold is pushing it later now - although the show closes so soon I'm sure that would have an effect as well.
I rushed on Thursday. The line was very long. They only had 1 ticket window open. When I got up to the window she told me the rush tickets were gone and that the last person to get one had been in line at 6:30am. All they had were full price seats. I went to Something Rotten instead. I would suggest getting there very early or doing TKTS instead.
I'd expect it to be just as crazy for it's final week. Good luck to anyone trying.
