No he is arguing with himself as his mother. He is a split personality like he is now in the series. He never in the movies becomes his mother full time.

Jane, that is my question. I think it's going to be very slow story arcs. It might very well be the show wears out it's welcome. I hope not but we shall see.

I'm wondering if they will do a reimagining of the movie. Bring the whole thing full circle. Norma could die but continue in Norman's head like they have been doing.

"That would be interesting. They could have her go there before her death time with another man or friends and possibly never meet Norman and just meet Norma. Even if it seems like she was never there before in the movie, they can change it up a little bit like the Walking Dead and Game of Thrones does with their originals

tonight's episode kinda of flatlined. Everything that happened tonight was shown in the preview for the episode. **SPOILER** The pot plot got buried without anyone caring **END SPOILER** The one slightly exciting thing might be the marriage between Romeo & Norma, just a matter of who tells who their dirty secrets first.

I was a little disappointed because when they put Norman into that holding cell until the shrink went in to see him, I thought at that point he would be Norma, and would talk like her. oh well.
It's clear he isn't wearing anything and has repeatedly said in interviews that he does NOT wear eye makeup. There is no reason he would lie about that, so perhaps you are not seeing the television too clearly.
Yes, Carbonell has unusually dark and thick eyelashes. When lashes are that dark and thick, it appears that they form what looks like a line under the eye. No, nature did not take a brush and draw a line across his lid from one end to the other. When his eyes are mentioned, it's the lashes they are talking about when they say liner.
Because the thickness and darkness varies on Carbonell from film to film, and photo to photo, it's apparent there has been some enhancement.
I agree as well. Freddie's great as Norman & Farmiga is equally great as Norma. Yesterday's episode we really got to see Norman go full on crazy at Pineview.

I am of the opinion that the casting of Freddie was a pure stroke of genius! He works so well in this series. Just the right mixture of pathos, charm and downright creepiness!

YES!!! The last 10 minutes of last night's episode had my jaw on the floor. So much going on!! Definitely made up for last week's rather dull episode.

The great part of the series is Norma. It is not all about Norman. We see why he turned out as he did. He was bonkers but she had a hand in him going totally over the cliff.
