According to Atlantic's website, it says it runs two hours and fifteen minutes including intermission.
I attended last night's performance and found it occasionally exciting but sometimes a bit dull, and much less funny than it could have been. Maybe I caught an off night or the timing just needs to be sharpened during previews, since most of the UK reviews were quite positive. In any case, I would definitely give the show credit for having a strong opening scene and what seemed to me a creepy, effective last line. Even then, though, I wondered if a somewhat unsteady and overlong fade to black undercut it a bit.
SPOILER-ISH QUESTION
Was there meant to be a supernatural, familial, or other connection between the two characters who both have bad wrists? If so, any idea what specifically it might have been?
I think we all forgot that this opened last night. But I scrolled through some reviews and it looks positive all around! Brantley made it a Critic's Pick.
Hi all, I’m trying to sell 1 ticket for Friday 3/16/18@8pm (orch A7) for $94.50, which is what I paid. Please DM if interested. Thank you! [TICKET SOLD!!]
Caught this last night and it was worth every penny of the $94 I paid to see it, Johnny Fry is giving a superb performance and I thought this was one of the funniest plays of seen all season. Hoping this still transfers at a later time so more people can see this phenomenal production
