I see there are a lot of different threads for different codes for different shows. Is it possible to post them all in one place so it can make finding them much easier?

You can either go to Broadway Box, or just Google [NAME OF SHOW] discount code and you'll find them --- it's not that difficult.

That works for me. Maybe you can change the title to "Official Discount Codes Thread," to get people's attention, and this can be that thread.

I've found many codes on here that haven't been listed publicly, so your solution isn't necessarily reasonable, or helpful.

For example, if you Google "Hadestown discount," you won't find the "NYTW" discount code that was posted here a week ago.

But it won't stop additional threads from popping up. We'll get nearly the same number saying, I didn't want to read the whole thread, so..... And it's not easy to read post after post trying to find a specific code, because there is no organization.

People create redundant threads all the time, but I'm certainly willing to give this one a chance. I do Audience Rewards updates fairly often, all on the same thread, and I think it's worked out well. As far as discount codes are concerned, it's not as if there's an unlimited amount at any given time, so there shouldn't be pages and pages of posts to read through. I think that regular posters would appreciate having them all in one place.

There are many shows that only have direct mail codes, and the only place I've seen them is through searching these boards. And even then they're not always posted unless someone specifically asks for a show. I fully support having them in one place in one thread.
I have no idea why there's any need for snark on a post like this.

And yes I know i can, and I do, search the major websites but as others have said there are often codes that are only sent by email. I hope this helps those of us who want to share and reap the benefits of discount codes.

Me too. That poster doesn't speak for ANYONE else and is woefully misinformed.
OP, this is a great idea for a thread, don't let anyone give you ****, and if they do, don't give it a second glance!

I think this thread is a great idea!
Speaking of which, has anyone seen any discount codes for Moulin Rouge? I’ve been looking pretty carefully, and have found nothing.

Use HUDSON for 30% of tickets for Burn This.
Not sure if Moulin Rouge is doing any discounts as of yet.

If you wre implying I was being sassy, my apologies. Not my intention, I was just being practical.
While AR thread has been successful, and the tdf thread, I've seen many more attempts at a consolidation thread fail.

I also think this thread is a great idea as not all discount codes can be found online. This board isn't the kindest of communities unfortunately so I'd say just ignore those who have to find snark in anything they disagree with.

Mike, thank you SO much for providing that discount code, I could not find any discounts for Burn This. Worked great, thanks again!

Posted: 2/6/19 at 10:26amI’m trying to find a code for Waitress for the first week of May. Taking my sister-in-law so would prefer to not have to pay full price. All codes I’ve seen so far expire by April.

^April begins a more busy season, so I'm sure they want to grab as many full price buyers as possible. You'll have to just keep checking - USUALLY available codes cover the same time frame. I'd be shocked if one doesn't pop up in a month or six weeks. (Unless they, too, post a closing notice.)

If the board's owners gave af about the user experience there would be a designated category called Discount Codes and threads for individual shows could be added underneath it. Mods would relocate any threads incorrectly started elsewhere.
We also would have categories for each individual show and all of the separate threads (rush, previews, reviews, stage door, etc.) could be placed there.
But who wants to have an organized user-friendly site when we can enjoy the daily experience of wading through this albatross.

That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.
