Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts 1 & 2 is on the board today at only 20% off. Is this new or has been happening for awhile?

I saw that. Wonder where the seats are? $210 for both parts.

...huh. Wait a minute, didn't that 934 promotion where people got free tickets start last month? Maybe this is impacting the production?

No, it’s the other way around. The production’s advance had already fallen considerably, so the 934 promotion was (presumeably) a means of getting more people to the website to build awareness of the show’s availability. This appearance on TKTS is another means of counteracting the same problem.

I read tickets were cheap!https://www.forbes.com/sites/marchershberg/2019/09/25/harry-potters-broadway-box-office-tactic-cloaks-drop-in-demand/#50f0bc6a2513

It's hard to say at the moment. There weren't that many seats available for either set of performances, so the ticket prices for those performances through the box office were higher than what I had seen for similar seats at previous performances. I am currently seeing tickets for pretty good seats on Ticketmaster for $95/part and $69/part, and those are cheaper than what they were selling at TKTS for the same seats.
