So, my review of the show as a whole was less than kind, but I have to say the album is AWESOME. The cast doesnt sound like they are trying too hard to replicate Alanis, and I appreciate the diversity and range in their voices.
Even if you hated the show, the cast album is worth a listen and its $11.99 on iTunes.
And yes. Lauren Pattens You Oughta Know is the highlight, even if its an unearned moment for the character in the show.

I find it weird that they recorded this before previews started and in Not The Doctor the words were different at first preview but they changed them to what was recorded for the album. I also find it funny that the 2 songs marked explicit are because of Lauren and the f-bomb.
But yes the album is awesome.
