Anyone check this out yet? It's campy romantic comedy cheese, but I liked it for what it was.
Also appreciated how many Broadway actors showed up. Beyond Neil Patrick Harris and Brooks Ashmanskas in the main cast, there's also Nic Rouleau, Andre De Shields, and a cameo from Marc Shaiman and Scott Whitman.
I was going to watch this tonight, as it kept coming up as a 'preview' on Netflix, but I saw NPH on 'The View' the other day and for some reason he really disinterested me. I really used to like him a lot, but lately he's been coming off kind of smug - which turns me off.

I have had that feeling for a while about him. Plus he just seemed to be everywhere and I was tired of seeing him. I am going to give this show a shot especially for Tisha Campbell. I also signed up for his Wondercade thing. Have gotten 2 e-mails and I am thinking I might bail on it after a few weeks.
I’m through most of it and find it a tad cloying. I think it’s hard to start a show where the protagonist is at their most annoying. I think Neil is one miscast among many. I don’t find him relatable or sympathetic as the lead. As some have said, this feels like a show directed at a straight audience as strange as that sounds.
First it’s truly trying to be a gay Sex and the City. I think they are actually using the music from the original series.
I find Marcia Gay Harden miscast as well. Her patrician behavior seems very forced as does her landing the humor. She’s not doing it for me.
I do enjoy Tisha but she isn’t styled like a high end realtor. She’s well cast and her acting is great.
I find the show innocuous and pleasant enough but nothing exceptional.
