She was horrendously miscast in Bombay Dreams.

Does she play an indian woman?
How did she get into Bombay Dreams anyway?
I didn't even remember her from being that great on A.I. and yet she lands a lead in a show..but I guess that's why it closed..no offense to her fans or anything..
I don't think Tamyra had anythign to do with BOMBAY closing....that show was in jeopardy way before she was even announced.
I really wanted to see bombay dreams...i like the whole bollywood thing...was it reallly that bad or was it just that it didnt belong on broadway?
I was hoping it would be a silent movie.

Princeton 78 - have u never heard the saying 'If you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all'. Take heed!
wickedfiyeroofoz, I also liked the concept of Bollywood movies onstage but this show just didn't translate well on the Broadway stage
The songs were catchy and the chorus was amazing, but the plot was really trite and stupid.
Not the worst show I've ever seen, but by no means the best.
