Just a question so I don't have get pissed off in the theatre, but are there any expeted DRS absences Saturday Afternoon (Nov. 19)? Be honest! I'm up for dissapointment.
Actually...is everyone saying the 31st b/c of what Sherie said to one person here? b/c I think that person even admitted that it being a Tuesday is weird and maybe she was confused. It's just rare I thought for a person's last show to be a Tuesday. Either way, I acted rashly and got front row mezz tix for that show, suppose I'll go anyway.
And I don't know for sure but there's talk that Sherie's "last" day may just be temporarily her last, as it may be that she is just leaving DRS for the show she is going to do and come back in March. Just a possibility/rumor at this time, but it would be surprising and wonderful if it did end up being the case.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
any expected absences for next july!?! i wont get to see the original cast now... depressing moment
BUT i just had a good moment thinking of sherie- on world history homework we had to define the nile river and i wrote "source of life for all the people." :) ( AIDA and everything for those who know... :) )
I want to second the thought that Sherie is coming back to the show later on. Supposedly she's doing a show with a limited engagement and then she'll be coming back to DRS. Supposedly. But I'm pretty sure that's the chick's deal.
Question: Will Esparza win for The Homecoming?
BobbyBubby: I hope so. If only for the mental health of many people on this board.
