Jennifer has the RIGHT voice for the role, and the right look.
She is perfect.
Fantastia lacked in all areas for this role.

Wow; I don't even have words for how absolutely thrilled I am! I've been saying for a very long time that Jennifer would be a brilliant Effie. I saw her in concert w/ the other AI finalists...there's just something about her that always got me wrapped up in her performances. Soooooo stoked for this; and with Anika Noni Rose and Beyonce the dreams are going to sounds absolutely amazing.

Yeah! I'm excited. She has the voice and I like the idea of having a bigger Effie and what she can bring to the role(maybe she could even gain some more weight!)
I really didn't want Fantascia in this role. However, I do feel that she would be a great Lorrell, because of all the spunk she has in her personality. I think that Anika would be more suited as Deena, but I'm sure she won't disappoint!
