As you might already know, I would love to be a pit musician on Broadway and I play guitar, banjo, ukulele, harmonica, and keyboards. But I'm very crazy about Broadway musicals that have a lot of banjo!!

You might want to look into the off-Broadway musical "Almost Heaven" about John Denver.

I think there is some banjo work in the song "Freedom" and possibly in "Why Am I Me" and maybe "Over The Hill". Now I have to go and listen to the cast recording.
