Did anyone catch My Broadway Debut this morning. I think the girl forgot her words, it was really sad to watch because I know I have been there, minus the being live on televison part. Anyway hopefully not many people were watching because it's Katie Couric's last day on the Today show (I was flipping back and forth)! Anyway did anyone else catch this? How is this poor girl ever going to be able to live this down?
I know I felt aweful for her, and then that dumb News anchor, Hannah, kept rubbing it in. She looked for support from the other boy and the guy from the show. It was henious. I am so shocked she didn't cry. I know it's aweful but I laughed for probably 20 mins after this happend, oppps!
Ehh, **** happens. She still looked amazing, and you could definitely tell from her audition tape that she was a great actress and had an amazing voice.

I think the guy today did quite well. He had a really pure tone to his voice and did great with that awful song. Let's be honest, that song doesn't allow anyone to show off any range. As for the girls, yesterday's girl who sang 'All That Jazz' was absolutely amazing. She had real stage presence, diversity to her voice, and completely blew me away. I'm working with a woman who sounds very similar to her and she doing very well for herself. Can't wait to see the performers tomorrow.
I really wanted to see this! I set my alarm and all for Couric's last day. But I slept in until 11! Ugh, I'm pissed. I hope the Broadway Debut thing comes up online somehow.
You might be able to find something on youtube later today but I'm not sure. It's not up on cbsnews.com though because I tried to find Monday's performances
The original e-mail that we all got said that he'd be doing "It's Your Wedding Day." When I talk to him today I'm gonna ask why it was switched because it seems to be the concensous on here that "It's Your Wedding Day" would have been a better song to show off vocals etc.
I felt horrible for her. I went to high school with her, and I stayed up last night texting everyone to watch and vote for her. The girl is incredible, and she's still got my vote. Any doubt I may have had was erased watching the clip of her rendition of Taylor.
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH!
