Tickets went on sale at 9 AM, at the price ranges of $120, $60, and $80 (with options to buy the higher priced tickets). According to the posters on ATC, the regular Amex card seats are closer than the premium ones.
Just got a great front row balcony seat for the 3rd preview. Can't wait!

Whoa! I thought there was no presale!
I'm an Amex customer. Do you have to hold a certain card to get this?

General Amex card.
Yes, Millie....this seems like a big secret.
You only need Amex. You need a gold card number to access the primier and premium seats.
P.S. I've been finding seats in the left and right orchestra towards the front for the regular $120 price!
Just got my ticket for the first preview on October 11th...thanks for letting us know about the presale!
Just got my tickets too! Thanks for posting about it!
And, thanks AMEX for advertising this.

Was that sarcastic, lol, because I didn't see any advertising.

Thanks, YankeeFan!
Did anyone notice that you could get row L center orch at regular price but that the premium seats at 275 were row N?
That makes no sense but I am not complaining.

Is front row of the balcony a pretty good location? I know this is a huge theater but looking at Ticketmaster, it says the first row of the balcony overhangs at the same place that the mezzanine does. So would first row balcony be a better spot than fourth row of the front mezz?
Yankee---- you rock !!! Thanks !
Got tix for 10/19

Just got tickets for Jan 11th....Orchestra Left....Row S....Seats 1 and 3 right on the aisle close to the center....how are these seats? They don't look bad, but everybody keeps talking about how massive this theatre is so I'm nervous.
The first row of the dress circle (mezzanine in other theaters) overhangs row T of the orchestra.
Interesting that there's no mention of this on the show's website, and broadwayworld.com has it wrong, stating that the Amex presale begins July 15. No email was sent to Am Ex cardholders (at least I did not receive one). But since I got balcony front row center seats, I can't complain.
I think I'm going to hold out for one of those $25 orchestra seats.

As you dont need to enter a code I guess it doesnt matter if you have an AMEX card or not?
Also whats better Row F stalls right at the side, or row CC slightly off centre. Is the stage very high at the hilton?
Nevermind.
Has anyone ever tried using an American Express gift card to buy the tickets? Any chance it would work?

Yeah, the front row of the balcony is actually decent in that theater, as I recall.
I was in the dead last row for Chitty, might as well have been in England.
Amex gift card... would it work?
...anyone?
I'm not sure, I would think it does. Give it a try :)
How would I get to order for anytime after December 30th. I can't get to the 2008 dates... Any help?
I didn't have any problems with 2008, LLM.
