Certainly. It was a nice surprise, but there was just something/one I enjoyed even more in the movie
(also loved the fact whether intentional or coincedence that Gerry told her she couldn't be a vampire slayer in a movie that James Marsters (Spike from Buffy) was in.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
Sherie made me love the movie even more then I already did, since I was born in Ireland and FRIENDS is my favorite show and Lisa Kudrow. All big surprises knowing nothing about it going in. Also, I remember Susan Blackwell from [title of show] was in it and she was really funny but I completely forget what her part was.
I wish they had shown the scene in the Travel Agent's office completely -- it's a very touching, emotional scene in the book, which made me cry. That was the only issue I had with this film which I otherwise really loved. I'm hoping that scene will show up on the dvd as a deleted scene in the extras.
Susan Blackwell had a LOT more screen time than Sherie!
Susan was awesome as the bitchy wife of the timid guy who was looking to buy the apartment. When Hillary tried to get the husband to stand up to his wife, the two women almost get into an all out brawl, with Gina Gershon having to hold them apart! Funny scene!
"To love another person is to see the face of God!"
Another reason I need to rent this once it comes out
"TO LOVE ANOTHER PERSON IS TO SEE THE FACE OF GOD"- LES MISERABLES---
"THERE'S A SPECIAL KIND OF PEOPLE KNOWN AS SHOW PEOPLE... WE'RE BORN EVERY NIGHT AT HALF HOUR CALL!"--- CURTAINS
Oh my gosh.. I've been trying to figure out who the other Broadway person I recognized in the movie was and it was Susan Blackwell. She and Sherie were just icing on the cake to a great movie!
