And in general, PS won't get as many nods as you predicted IMO. The non-existent costumes, choreography, and set surely will get overshadowed by YF's towering sets, sharp choreography, and big, colorful costumes. I think PS will get nominated for Musical, Score, Book, Orchestrations, and Supporting Actor. And that's it.
Also, I think Scott is an extreme dark horse. Updated On: 5/5/08 at 03:32 PM
buddharich, I guess you liked PS? Robin de Jesus, what does he do to deserve it, NOTHING. The class clown of the show, that's about it. And I don't hate him.

"A birdcage I plan to hang. I'll get to that someday. A birdcage for a bird who flew away...Around the world."
"Life is a cabaret old chum, only a cabaret old chum, and I love a cabaret!"-RIP Natasha Richardson-I was honored to have witnessed her performance as Sally Bowles.
I so want Humbert to be right and for Christopher Ashley and Cheyenne Jackson to get richly deserved nominations! It all depends on who is on this year's committee, and if they recognize that pulling off Xanadu was much harder than really any of the other shows this past year. The original source material is not beloved, but this broadway musical certainly is and should be!!
Has the committee ruled on Kate Fleetwood yet?? (Lead or Featured?) I think she belongs in lead but would more likely win in featured...
I'm not sure it matters which category Kate Fleetwood is placed in (I think it'll be leading), she most likely will not win, as the August ladies will probably clean up the awards. I think Deanna Dunnagan will win leading actress and Rondi Reed featured (she's really quite good and I think she's grown in her role a great deal).
As for Xanadu-the more nods the merrier.

As much as I'd like to see it, do you really think they'll nominate that many actors from The Seafarer? If the committee has a long term memory they should nominate Bobby Cannavale and Alison Pill (because Fleetwood is leading now) for Mauritius.
