Not where I live. Will and Grace is on life time.
^Um?
LifeTime is showing it in Spanish in OKC....wtf....
This is one of my favorite episodes. Patti is just icing on the cake.

I love that episode! Patti should sitcom appearances, she's so funny!
Patti should make guest appearances on TV shows (sitcoms, dramas, etc.) AS Patti LuPone. She's become a character in itself (as shown on that 2005 WILL & GRACE episode). Just having her appear as herself is topical enough, especially to the theatre savy folks. She doesn't need to create a character -- Patti LuPone IS a character. Period.
nobody does a better Patti LuPone imitation than Patti LuPone, that's for sure.

Patti LuPone is the sun, the moon and the stars.
"I'm sorry. My head was practically in your lap. So... Do I get the part?"
This episode was on youtube at some point, but it's not there anymore. That disappoints me, I wanted to watch it again.
here is a link to the clip. the only downside is that it doesn't show the very last scene of will & patti singing, and jack about to cut her hair.
patti lupone on will & grace
The funny thing is ... Patti isn't like that in person ... completely scripted...
Although she is funny in this episode.
I don't know how many people read Patti's Ramblings on her website, but she quoted "Shut up, Patti LuPone!" in one of them from May 2007:
"'Oh, I'm sorry if I'm a pain in the ass, and, Oh, I don't want to bother you, or, I hope this isn't too much trouble.' Take the trouble. I told the guy in the post pffice [sic] he was rude. I don't care what he thinks of me. Is that why we don't get involved? Because we're afraid of what people will think of us? Ay, yay, yay. 'Shut up Patti LuPone.'"
No, s**t... WhenURScrap.
We're just saying that she should play 'Patti LuPone', in every single stereotype and cliche' that character represents.
Regardless of how she is in real-life, etc... her persona/personality has reached a level of caricature in itself that she is fully keen on and has embraced (obviously). She needs to make a career of playing PATTI LuPONE, that character... in everything!
From now on, she should make all her screen/stage entrances announcing: "... hi, I'm Patti LuPone."
Like how Neil Patrick Harris played "Neil Patrick Harris" as opposed to "Himself" in Harold and Kumar, which pretty much relaunched his career and got him a role on How I Met Your Mother Playing "Neil Patrick..." err... "Barney Stinson"?
