Kamala.

Will you be reading?

I must say, it was kinda shocking to read in the excerpts about how the Biden team mistreated her. Or how she thought he should not run for a second term but stayed quiet about it.

Kamala was only picked as Biden's VP so he could get the women's vote and the black's vote. Harris isn't liked that much in the black community. this was dragged out endlessly in 2020 when she was picked.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Running mates are always picked for tactical reasons, though. Nothing remarkable about it. Biden himself was picked because he was a straight white older man to get the Middle America votes.

Um, no she was not picked due to her race. Black people love Joey Robinette due to his friendship and professional relationship with Barack. She had absolutely nothing to do with him getting elected. Honestly, I know it would have been quite a crazy rushed thing, but they needed to do a primary for Democrats last Summer so it was our choice who to vote for. Taking that away is the reason so many people never showed up at the ballot, in my view.

Why would anyone care to read this book? Ms. Harris was big time failure when she ran for POTUS in 2020. She polled so badly she withdrew from the race before the first primary. Everyone knew Biden was not going to select a white male for VP, so he just checked off a box by selecting her. You had to be brain dead not to have thought Biden should not run for 2nd term. I would have given her credit if she stood up to Biden and said "Mr. President" you are not fit to run again. If you don't step down, I am going to make case for invoking the 25th Amendment". Then instead of just being selected the nominee she should have demanded there be a primary so she could earn the nomination not just have it handed to her. Think about it, Ms. Harris became the nominee without one vote. Is that democracy in action?

Did Biden mistreat her? Her word against his so who really knows. Did she do good job when Biden made her his point person on immigration, I believe most people would say no.

Of course I will read "107 Days".

Kamala Harris is an exceptional woman, Californian, American and Democrat.  Over and over again, she has proved herself to be the "best person for the job" in all the positions she has held.  As a proud Kamala Harris supporter, I will cast my vote for Kamala in any elective office she might choose to run for in the future.

Kamala Harris will be interviewed by Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) on her Monday, September 22, show.  Two of my favorite ladies!
