Fox just confirmed that there will be a third 'Night at the Museum' film, which will be released Christmas Day 2014.
Night At The Museum 3 Gets The Green Light With Ben Stiller Set To Return
Halle Berry & James Marsden are currently holding out on the next X-Men film. Just do the damn movie already, I'm sure it's a nice paycheck they'll both get.
ACL they dont need them, theyre characters are kinda tired anyway. As long as Wolverine Dr X and Magneto are in it. its like when Kristin Dunst held out for Spiderman 2, theyre besides the point!
I disagree. If they are sticking closely to the actual comic book story this time (Days of Future Past--a classic for X fans) I hope they come on board--we really need the future versions of these characters, and I would hate to see them recast just for the sake of continuity. (Then again, I like to think the awful Wolverine movie has no connection to the other X movies--and that the new one can just replace it...)

But it might appear on DVD and Blu-ray.

That's ridiculous! She was so great as Rogue, would much much rather have her on screen than the insipid Halle Berry. Oh well, thank God for everyone else involved.
I think the bigger question is, why was Rogue only in ONE scene!!!

^ I corrected my post after reading the article again. It was a sequence of events where some characters were doing a rescue mission. However, the sequence of events was the only time when Rogue was in the movie. Now that the sequence is gone, she is not in the film.

Huffington Post had this to say this morning.
"According to HitFix, however. there's still a chance Paquin could end up seeing some screen time after the film's upcoming reshoots."

Paquin is still apparently going to be 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'.
"It was one real sequence in the movie," explains Kinberg. "We felt like it was taking tension out of the main story drive."
"It does not mean that we won't see her in the film," Singer adds, enigmatically. "Also, I hope to make the sequence available on the DVD as she was quite wonderful in it. She is an important part of the X-Men family. I 'm very pleased she will remain as one of Empire's anniversary covers."
The most important thing to note there is that, "it does not mean that we won't see her in the film." Presumably, even with Rogue's key scene removed, the character will have a background role of some capacity.
Bryan Singer On Rogue Being Cut From X-Men: Days Of Future Past

I think one issue is they now have Kitty Pride. Rogue, at least IMHO, in the original trilogy largely was a mix of comic book Rogue and Kitty.

They now have announced releases through 2018.
Quote:
"The rebooted Fantastic Four, with Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, and Miles Teller reportedly aboard, is scheduled for June 19, 2015, but Fox has already penciled in a sequel for July 14, 2017.
Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, who stars in this May’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, will return in another standalone movie, targeted for March 3, 2017. His last solo effort, 2013?s The Wolverine, grossed $414.8 million globally. That film’s director, James Mangold, is attached to the next sequel as well. (Another X-Men all-star movie, X-Men: Apocalypse, will open May 27, 2016.)
Fox will deliver another Marvel film on July 13, 2018, but the studio hasn’t yet announced which superhero will be suiting up. Since Fox owns only X-Men and Fantastic Four, there’s speculation that the film could be either a crossover or another standalone for a main character from one of those franchises.
In other Fox release-date news, Matthew Vaughn’s The Secret Service has been bumped up from March 6, 2015 to Oct. 24 of this year, swapping dates with an untitled Vince Vaughn movie. Daniel Radcliffe’s Frankenstein is moving from Jan. 16, 2015, to Oct. 2, 2015. Liam Neeson’s Taken 3 will open Jan 9, 2016 — right in the heart of Neeson Season! Fox is also counting on a still-unspecified Ridley Scott movie for a March 4, 2016 release date."
