I totally missed the first hour...I forgot it was 2 hours tonight. Quick recap?
I kind of liked Edgar. Looks like someone else is out next week "one of these people will make the ultimate sacrifice...". My guess is either Bill Buchanan or Lynn to redeem himself for the major f-up of not reporting his key card stolen.
And wow, Ponyboy Curtis giving Jack attitude, eh?

I'm hoping the one to sacrifice herself is Audrey. Oh, how I would love to see that woman gone.
If it was a utopia, the president would off himself also. (God how I can't stand that man)

Is C. Thomas Howell playing Kim's boyfriend? I did not even recognize him. When I saw the name on the opening credits, I was wondering where old Ponyboy would show up.

Yep, Peach...that's a bearded C Thomas Howell.
Wow, think of all the action the Outsiders cast is getting lately:
Matt Dillon nominated for an Oscar.
Rob Lowe returns to West Wing.
C Thomas Howell on 24
Tom Cruise suing somebody, I'm sure.
Leif Garrett in trouble with the law.
What's Diane Lane, Patrick Swayze, and Emilio Estevez up to?

HOLY SH*T!!!! My thesis was due today so I had to suck it up and miss 24, and just watched it now. I'm honestly speechless. I just sat there staring at the screen. The silent clock tick!
This is insane. Poor Edgar

I thought the silent clock tick was wonderful!
I know it was a good episode because I cried when Chloe and Edgar were looking at each other through the glass window...no words needed.

Chloe's reaction made me tear up...I think they've been hinting at an Edgar/Chloe romance for a while now. Sorry, Chloe.
I HATED Audrey last season. She got on my nerves so much, but she somewhat redeemed herself in my eyes by going behind Lynn's back. I thought that was cool.
President Logan needs to stop blaming other people for his mistakes and go away forever.

Well.... amazing episode. Im happy i was able to control my tears and keep them in when Edgar died. It was so sad, i liked him. I was watching him die and trying to find out ways that they could bring him back to life. It didn't ork much though lol.Poor Chloe.
I was never a big Audrey fan. and i don't like Lynn. I dont really like Kim either, she causes to many problems.

Posted: 3/10/06 at 5:38pmDid anyone realize that Tony is now in a room with Henderson? Who thinks that he's gonna kill him because of Michelle.

wow i'm surprised no one has bumped this...wow just wow, last night was intense and who else cried like a baby at then end? First Edgar, then Lynn and now Tony, guess no one IS safe!
Tony has always been my favorite character and to lose him like that it's just upsetting to say the least. I've never been this emotional about a fictional character before (not since Sirius in book 5 of harry potter). Poor Tony, shoulda shot Henderson when he had the chance!

I agree that it is sad to lose Tony. To tell you the truth, though, when they said that Michelle had died, I knew Tony wouldn't survive the season. She was his whole life - we saw what he was like without her, and he could have never gone back to that. In a way, this was better for him.
I'm glad Lynn got the chance to redeem himself, though I actually felt worse for the security guard than for Lynn.

oh god the security guard saying goodbye to his little girl was so sad!
I knew Tony wasn't going to be long for this world, but I was hoping he would die heroricly or something, not like that. It's just sad to say goodbye to a beloved character whom you've watched for 5 years and grew to love more and more each season...
but Tony's death does beg the question, who inherits the Cubs Mug now?

Yeah, good point - he did kind of die for nothing. Tony has always been a favorite of mine as well. I agree it was hard to see him go.
Maybe this new lady from Homeland Security is a Cubs fan? Hehe....

haha maybe? Hmm maybe we'll see Jack drinking from it?
I'm not liking the homeland security chick, lord knows Jack, Chloe and everyone will not take her crap, it's gonna be interesting to see them clash.

Oh, I felt the same way...I felt bad for the security guard "We're all gonna die because you were embarrassed?"
I thought this was a great Chloe episode too. She had her little nervous breakdown over Edgar, but by the end was her sarcastic self to Dr. Ponyboy.
It worries me that so many major characters are biting the dust this year...Palmer, Michelle, Edgar, Lynn, and now Tony. Kiefer has made mention that really, no one is safe, not even Jack. But I would hope the writers know that Jack Bauer is THE man, and if he dies, the show dies.

Maybe Tony is "not yet dead?"
For some reason, I foresee this scene with Jack crying over Tony and suddenly, Tony gasps a lot and starts coughing...you know the type of scene I mean. Like he was shot up with the same drug that Jack used at the end of last season...so it only appears he's dead.
My imagination is running away with me today.

haha Peach I only wish that were true and might hold out the hope until next week, which I won't get to see live since i'll be making a trip to NYC and will be at a show or something during that time...
why didn't they do the silent countdown for Tony? Tony was more beloved then Edgar and I cried way more for Tony then I ever would for Edgar!
Chloe is rocking so much this season, I swear if they kill her off I dunno i wanna say i'll never watch again, but I know that's not true lol, but I will be angry and sad.
RIP Tony and Michelle, well at least they're together now...
They were the greatest couple on TV, IMHO, they didn't get old and they're love was true and powerful, look at all Tony did for Michelle! Hmm i think i might go and have a 24 marathon when i get back from NYC, I haven't watched the first few seasons in forever.
Hmm have we seen the cubs mug this season? It's not 24 without that mug!

Ha ha - the RENT ending!
"I saw this white light...and EDGAR was there, and he said 'girfriend, turn back and listen to that Jack bauer rip someone's head off!' And he looked goooood!"
Cue Audrey: "His fever's breaking..."

I'm still all emotional about the end of last night's episode. Tony has always been my favorite character, and for him to be killed off in such a depressing fashion is just
I'm glad Lynn got the chance to redeem himself, though I actually felt worse for the security guard than for Lynn.
Same here. The Lynn aspect of it was so eerily reminiscent of the Mason plotline in season 2.

Peach, that made me laugh out loud. Unfortunately, I don't think that'll happen, but this show has taught me not to assume anything...
I did think Tony deserved the silent clock-tick, though.
