"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

And it's supposed to be 60 degrees and rainy on Saturday in the NY area...

It's wreaking havoc on many of the plants, which were already in a weakened state after the summer drought. The trees have been so weakened, and many were severely damaged in the heavy wind storms.

Mother Nature...

Glebby..that's my starting time everyday..and I'm usually stuck here until 6 p.m every night....so i look forward to sleeping a little later on weekends....but usually that never works....but storms are perfect reasons not to get up.

We've had a 7pm week because we are mounting Romeo and Juliet and learning a new Donald Byrd right now.
Elizabeth Parkinson, one of our former dancers, was here to assist him for the first three days.

I remember snow in Chicago.....strangely I miss it. Of course that's easy to say when you live somewhere where your annual average temperature temp is between 88-92.....trudging through the snow to the bars......snow is when I learned that Jewel delivers!
