I would never compare anything to Hitler, way too offensive. . Nothing compares to that except maybe what happened to the Indians from Canada to Argentina
The big diff though is that was over 400 years and many involved many diff countries. Spain. England. Portugal USA. France.
More accurately, Benghazi will be Hilary s Chappaquiddick. Her Monika Lewinski

Wow my history classes never made it past WWII. And I never saw an American history book that went into great detail about Cronkite's report, but I do know the veracity of the piece was not challenged. It's not as if he interviewed soldiers who told him about the futility of the war and then later it was revealed that those soldiers weren't actually there. So again, you've brought up a totally unrelated issue to try to change the subject. And seriously, this is a subject a 52 year old native born American had to look up to be prepared to discuss with you, someone who wouldn't be born (on the other side of the world) for 25 years. Who were we fighting (by proxy) in Viet Nam? Wasn't it Russia (or the Soviet Union if you prefer?) I'd think a Russian girl might have a VERY different perspective-- but then you aren't a Russian girl and no one thinks you are.
"Sue" why not drop this charade? You had obviously tested a new persona this weekend- why not bury this clunky 20 year old Russia girl and write a decent character? No one buys it. NO ONE.

Joe. I'm guessing as a 52 year old you have no idea what's taught in schools or what's in History books. At least I hope not. It would be creepy if yiu did.
Oh and if you were as smart as you thought you'd know China was helped North Vietnam. Ussr was just selling them arms as they did dozens of countries. As did the USA like afghanistsn and iran for example!.

'Mob hit'? There are documents and a trail that proves almost nothing in the book could've happened. The author is a liar who is making money off a tragedy where people died and making a fictional account that makes him heroic.
60 Minutes plans to issue a correction on the story.

It takes a big man and a dose of real honesty and character to admit you are wrong. Kudos to CBS and Lara Logan. Hey, these things happen.
I doubt we will hear any such apology or admission of 'getting the facts wrong' from Roxy or Sue or even Fox News or Drudge. They already HATE Obama/Hillary and it would just kill them to admit they got a lie they fell for about them wrong.Keep on hating. It's what you do best!

Hannity. Drudge. Fox News.Let's see if they correct their errors after reporting this LIE.Rachel Maddow fell for a hoax and reported it as if it were fact and went on the next night retracting the story and admitted she got the story wrong.Even Bill O'Reilly has corrected stories he has reported on.

They were gloating and patting themselves on the back when this 'so called story' broke. However, now that is has been proven to be nothing more than a lie, they ignore this new fact and carry on. These are cowardly liars and those who follow them are no better.They listen & report the news THEY WANT TO HEAR & once it turns out to be false they are too bitter to retract their filthy Lies & apologize.

It will make no difference to conservatives. At all. You could travel back in time and show them Barack Obama's birth in that Hawaiian Hospital, they would STILL deny it. Roxy has already weighed in with his disgusting theory to explain this away. And Sue will be using this bogus charge against Clinton in the 2016 election.
And still I say: No one will be fired at CBS for this outrageous malfeasance.

Tying up loose ends:
--Fox had cited the “60 Minutes” story repeatedly to validate its earlier reporting. “We stand by our reporting on Benghazi, and given what is still unknown, we anticipate further fact finding from those who know the truth about what took place on 9/11/12,” said Michael Clemente, executive vice president of news for Fox News.
--There were no indications Friday that anyone at CBS would be fired for the Benghazi report.
There you go- the report was riddled with lies but conservatives are going to stand by it and no one will be punished for it. Business as usual- even a 20 year old Russian school girl should be disgusted.
