I loved the Elephant Show! I think I was only 3 or 4 when I watched that. Does anyone else remember other Nick Jr. shows like The Little Koala and The Noozles? I know they exist, but nobody I know really knows of them.

Hey Arnold!

I don't know if it was Nick, but there was a Loony Toons school thing or something.

Kidsongs- on PBS

And the Wee Sing movies

I think those shows and movies are what got me addicted to music at such a young age.

OK. And this is bugging me to no end

There was a movie in made in the late 80s or early 90s about a girl who gets in a car crash, and while unconscious, goes to this imaginary world and someone tries to take it over, and she helps the citizens fight the guy off. I think the setting is during Christmas. (Vague, I know. It's been a long time since I have seen it.)

anyone have a clue what it is called?

I don't know if it was Nick, but there was a Loony Toons school thing or something.

Tiny Toons?

What was the name of the cartoon with the koala bears?

Nickelodeon used to import a lot of Canadian shows...perhaps that one about the girl in the accident was one of those. The only thing I remember remotely resembling what you describe was an animated show about a girl with a bear who would take her to some strange world. The bear came alive, I think.

Is there a website that lists any of the old Nickelodeon shows? Like a database? If not, someone needs to start one.

THE ELEPHANT SHOW!! Oh how I *loved* that when I was little. I had a bus driver when I was in 1st or second grade that looked just like Bram! I thought it was the coolest thing ever...

I have to agree with Adamgreer... "Hey Dude" was my absolute favorite when I was a kid!

The koala shows I mentioned. If it was a bunch of different animals, that was The Little Koala. If it was a show about 2 koalas and the one was a stuffed animal who came to life, that was The Noozles.

The best Nick game show was Legends of the Hidden Temple. I wanted so badly to be on that show growing up. My best friend and I (who lived across the street) set up a temple run in my basement. No joke.

I bought a Green Monkeys t-shirt a few months ago, and I have never had so many complete strangers coming up to me recognizing it and saying how much they loved that show.

I've decided that I'm going to make Old Nick shows shirts site on Cafepress. I will take no profit just what you pay them. So if anyone has any Hi-Res pics post them here or PM them to me.

That Guts t-shirt is pretty cool.

Is it sad that I am 22 and I still watch Nickelodeon? Just a couple of shows.. iCarly and reruns of Drake and Josh. I just recently started watching iCarly and I love it. Some of the stuff can actually be pretty clever.

If Nickelodeon still aired programs of the quality they did when I was growing up, I would still watch, too.

I'm angry that they canceled the GAS channel. It had all the old Nick Game shows. I watched it when I went to my Grandma's house & nothing else. Does anyone know if the Nicktoons channel is still on? They had a bunch of old shows on it.

I loved the nick toons channel during high school because it let me watch Hey Arnold when I got ready for school. Hey Arnold was possibly my favorite cartoon on Nick followed closely by Rugrats.

Aw, I really miss Doug and Hey Arnold.

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim
