I can only put up one type of the same shirt in the store. So if you want a logo on something else let me know. Then let me know after you buy so I can change it back.

Here's one more mystery quote. It's kinda vague, but anyone who really knows the show should get it instantly.
"Hoooow DAAAAAARE YOOOOOOUUU???!!!"
Also, who was your favorite 'Doug' alias?
Race Canyon
Quailman
Smash Adams
Jack "Wha-Na-Na" Bandit

"Hoooow DAAAAAARE YOOOOOOUUU???!!!" That's definitely from "Rocko's Modern Life".
I'm glad I started this thread.

Aww, they cancelled the GAS channel? What about Noggin or The N or the Nicktoons channel? Does any of this stuff rerun on those networks?
I've heard Are You Afraid of the Dark was on DVD.

LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE!
I used to SCREAM at my TV when those kids went into the wrong room or took forever putting together that damn 3-piece monkey. And you always KNEW what rooms the temple guards were hiding in (there was that "vibe") and I'd always laugh when contestants would scream and lose their gigantic yellow mouth-guard.

There were certain rooms to be avoided at all costs, because they either took too long, or there was always a temple guard in them. Like that room where you stood in the coffin and pushed the levers down and they spun around. It took forever, and one of the coffins usually had a temple guard behind it.
And yes, EugLoven, there were always kids who never put the head on the shrine of the silver monkey correctly. You had to slam that head down!

Dude, none of it had the cutting edge technology of Nick Arcade.

Posted: 8/7/08 at 6:37pmWhen I was a little tyke I seriously thought that Clarissa was the coolest chick on tv. Who wouldn't want to have a pet alligator, their own computer (which was a big deal at the time) and a cute neighbor boy who would climb through your bedroom window unexpectedly.

Me too!!! I watched it with my 13 year-old niece (who had never seen the show) last Thanksgiving, and she watched in horror as her 22 year-old uncle scream at the Temple Guards. :-|

Thanks to this thread, I spent part of my afternoon watching a couple of episodes of Adventures of Pete & Pete on YouTube. That show holds up shockingly well. I think I was a bit young to fully appreciate it when it first aired, actually.
I loved '90s Nickelodeon. I can still recite the Stick Stickley jingle by heart. My favorites were Salute Your Shorts, Clarissa and Are You Afraid of the Dark?. Some of the Are You Afraid... episodes were legitimately really scary -- there's one, The Tale of the Dream Girl, that freaked me out so much I've never forgotten it. The original three Nicktoons (Doug, Rugrats and Ren and Stimpy) were classic, and I don't think they were ever equaled by the later ones.
I could take or leave Guts or Legends of the Hidden Temple, but that Nick Arcade clip brought back memories! Family Double Dare was great, too.
As for non-Nick kids shows, I loved the first two seasons of Disney's So Weird. Sort of an X-Files-for-kids thing. Figures that the network would deem it "too edgy" (i.e. interesting) and step in to force changes.

The one non-Nick show I really remember was Kids Incorporated, which aired on the Disney Channel.

Posted: 8/8/08 at 2:41amI loved Nick when I was younger. While I don't remember some of the earlier shows (I'm a child of the later nineties), I do remember Doug, Rugrats and Rocko and loved all of them. I wish they would put Rocko and Doug on DVD.

I was a PBS kid too. I remember watching 3-2-1 Contact and Square One, and then there was The Voyage of the Mimi. And I don't know if anyone remembers this show that was on PBS centered on art called The Big A.
But anyway back to Nickelodeon. When I was in elementary school I would always watch Mr. Wizzard's World as I ate breakfast and got ready for school.
