Even though I was way past childhood and my own kids were a little young for it, I was obsessed with Pete & Pete...even bought the DVDs.
Also a big Kablam fan.

Hey, Dude: Season 1 is available for download at the I-Tunes Store. Individual episodes are $1.99, and the whole season is $19.99.
Guess what I'm watching???

I love old-school Nickelodeon.
I forgot the exact name of the show...I think it was called What Would You Do? It had the pie-coaster and that machine that threw pies at you. I used to love that show for some reason.
I think they shut down Nickelodeon studios in Florida.

Yes, it was called What Would You Do, and it was hosted by Mark Summers.
And yes, Nick Studios in Florida is gone now. It's been turned into a theater for Blue Man Group.

Posted: 8/17/08 at 3:41pmI remember at the end of Fifteen they'd always say that it was taped at Nick studios in Orlando, which I always thought was a big fat lie. The show was decidedly Canadian, I didn't buy that they'd cast in Canada and fly all of those kids down to FL. I later found out that Fifteen (known as Hillside in Canada) moved production to FL mid-series.

OMG, I loved all these shows! I have this shirt: http://www.bustedtees.com/thebeets and I love when people get it. I was on a trip to Israel, sitting in Independence Hall in Tel Aviv, waiting for the presentation to start, and my counselor suddenly said, "Is that a Doug shirt??" and we both starting singing the Doug theme. In Independence Hall, Tel Aviv.
I loved Hey, Arnold too. I remember that it was a big deal that they hired real kids to do the voices. The acting was much better than almost anything else on TV.
I liked Shelby Woo. Dude, Mr. Miyagi was in it. How could you hate it?
There's a Facebook group called "I HATE when kids suck at putting together the shrine of the silver monkey!" Everyone should join!
(Also for the Ghostwriter love, although it's not Nick. I loved that show and wanted a pen necklace forever! I found out it will cost about $300 to buy the whole series on VHS, minus the last two story arcs, which apparently were never preserved, and I'm seriously considering buying it.)

Posted: 8/18/08 at 8:20pmUghh, the world was so magical back then. I loved All That, and Figure It Out, and Guts (which they're reviving, OMG). And Clarissa was amazing. And I also was quite fond of Are You Afraid of The Dark. Good ole days...

Posted: 9/25/08 at 1:37amOMG!! I SOOOOOOOO happy that someone remembers, "What would you do?" It was my favorite game show on Nick! None of my friends remember it. They all think I'm crazy or something. Does anyone remember a gameshow that was like on Nick at Night (I think. It might of been during the afternoon.), where the contestants would bet if people in the mall or other places would do crazy things? like, they would guess how many people will stick their face in cheese sauce and then in a bowl of chips.

This is amazing!
Does anyone remember these Are You Afraid of the Dark episodes?:
-Tia and Tamera Mowry (from Sister Sister) are in it..one was evil and the good one was accidentally turned into an iguana and put in a well..or something.
-The clown nose one..where that kid went to the carnival and took the nose from the evil clown and he was like stalked by him.
-Where this girl (who did the voice of Phoebe on The Magic School Bus I remember) stayed at her grandparent's home for the summer or something and her friend that used to live by her mysteriously disappeared, and it turned out she was trapped as a doll in her dollhouse.
Anyone?
Also for non-Nick shows..Boy Meets World!! I wish the whole series was on DVD.
Does anyone remember Gullah Gullah Island, Pinky and the Brain, Bill Nye the Science Guy, The Torkelsons, Recess, Arthur, Wild and Crazy Kids, Bug Juice (it doesn't come in jar!) or Muppet Babies?
Gah there's so many more too!

I distinctly remember the clown episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? I loved that show so much growing up.
I know the show is available in Canada on region 1 DVD. Any way to get them here in the U.S.?
