Yeah but this thread kind of veered into 90's shows in general.
Any way, I;m getting the complete "Dinosaurs" Series for Christmas.

One of my theatre friends from high school was Quail-Man for Halloween
It was AWESOME!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu

I really wanted to go here for summer camp:
for Thanksgiving, I flew JetBlue and watched NickatNite and they had Family Matters on... I felt pretty ancient at that point!

Posted: 2/22/09 at 12:05pmIt was weird going to Universal Orlando this summer and not seeing Nickelodeon Studios. I remember my friends spotted me on Slime Time Live (in 2000) and they were all jealous.

I was in the audience, but right behind of a group who got slimed, so I did get slimed a little.
I wish I was on the show.

I wanted to be on Double Dare or Figure It Out so badly.
And who else hates SpongeBob for ruining Nickelodeon?
The N used to show All That and Kenan And Kel, but then they stopped. ![]()

Amy Ehrlich from season 3 of the show went on to do the FAME Tour with Gavin Creel and also did RENT. Understudied Maureen and played Mark's Mom.

To reminisce is to think, talk or write about remembered events or experiences. If a vinyl record or VHS casette tape causes one to do that, it is a reminiscence, as much as reflections inspired by a wax recording cylinder.
But I do see your point.

There was a website available a few years back called Nick Classics. Pretty sure it's highly illegal and they seem to now always be under construction (NOT a good sign). BUT when they were working I ordered some shows and am proud to say I now own (though the quality varies from crappy to craptastic) every episode of
The Secret World of Alex Mack
Salute Your Shorts
Are You Afraid Of The Dark?
Doug
Just writing that made me grin. I honestly can't wait 'til I go back to Vegas. I think I'm gonna scare myself to death by watching The Tale Of The Ghastly Grinner. That **** still gives me the creeps.

I was a HUGE fan of Clarissa Explains it All. There used to be a bunch of episodes on youtube but they've been taken down
And I remember that Are You Afriad of the Dark would give me nightmares!!

Clarissa was great. I still have dreams of getting that outfit she wore in the opening credits. I loved those pink tights and belt...I'd still rock that.
mormonophobic - The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner is my second favorite episode ever, second only to Laughing in the Dark. Can't beat Zeebo the Clown!
I have a bunch of illegal DVDs of Nick shows, but I want Hey Dude so badly. Chances are I'll never be able to get my hands on that one.

Posted: 2/24/09 at 1:23pmBroomstickBoy I'm so jealous! Loved Clarissa to and I have I think it's either season or volume one on DVD.

I hate The Blue Man Goup & I will never forgive them for the closing of Nickelodeon Studios.
Nick Studios closed when they stopped any production in Florida. It became too costly to fly people in to Florida for production. Anyway, there was a good chunk of time when the place just sat empty before they finally tore it down and made it into the Blue Man Group. Nick wasn't forced out because of Blue Man.
I too miss the place and remembered as a kid being thrilled beyond belief when we finally got to visit.
Slime tastes like vanilla pudding, by the way.

Posted: 2/24/09 at 3:37pmYeah I know, but I like to place the blame on someone. The slime actually made of vanilla pudding. They also used oatmeal before. Ioffer.com has A LOT of bootlegged DVDs of old Nick shows.
