ABC News found to be secretly taping reactions to gays kissing in public

ABC is conducting a social experiment gauging the reactions of the general public to displays of affection between members of the same sex.

An actor inside an RV parked in the area confirmed a witness account of ABC's week-long project. According to a police officer, "three or four" had complained about men kissing in public, but nothing illegal is going on. The actor told Fox6 that "Yes, we are working for ABC News."

The title makes it sound like it's a crime. They're conducting a social experiment on homophobia, essentially. If this hadn't been revealed by Fox of all stations then in a week or two this very information would have been your basis for another thread in the opposite direction.

FOX is so right-wing...ugh.

I wouldn't mind a right-wing news station, but They're the only station who is exclusively for one side of the political argument while branding the other stations as left-wing propaganda.

Yeah, I think its wrong as well. However, I am curious to see which way they go with this. I was at the mall acouple weeks ago and saw a teenage couple (male and female) making out and no one paid them any attention) I then remember over the summer seeing a same sex couple (late teens/college age)holding hands and cuddling and people were giving them nasty glances. It all makes me so angry. I want to think this could be good, but ABC television? C'mon. I think we know which way this gonna go.

I took part in several Queer Nation kiss-ins. Kisses-in? I'm talking at large tourist destinations and once in a sports bar. They made me scared, well, really not scared, well excited and scared.

One thing to consider, though, is that in some places, even a quick peck on the cheek between two men is inviting danger. It's true that people shouldn't really be slobbering all over each other in public, but there are myriad ways couples show affection in public and it doesn't raise an eyebrow. I still sometimes get cross looks walking down the street holding another guy's hand.
