howdy doody! i know these usually get annoying, but ive already searched, and there is a small thread on this but i am reviving it and expanding.
me and my 2 friends, a guy who sings baritone but can go up to some tenor notes (probably an A#... but goes quite higher in his falsetto) and a girl who sings mainly mix-soprano but sings whatever range necessary, and myself, (mix and belt... whatever range)... we're trying to find a musical theatre song to sing for showcase. We're seniors, and this is kinda a final farewell. All three of us are really strong vocalists, but we want a strong acting base to the song as well.
We're working on The I Love You Song from Spelling Bee.. but it might be too high for the guy. Any suggestions?!

what about Doors from Closer Than Ever...though it might be 4 people, but it is a beautiful song
You could always go with the A Step Too Far from Aida. One guy and two girls. I Love You song would be good.

Definitely do the I Love You Song. Three of my friends did it last year for our state thespian conference and won the group musical category for Washington state. My friend (guy) mixed a lot of the higher notes and they still sounded great - maybe a good thing to try if your friend is having a hard time belting them. Great song, though.
well, im sorry to post this blog then change it.. HOWEVER!
we are now officially doing the I LOVE YOU SONG!!! wee!!!
