Danny, Kris, and Matt are splitting the Christian votes. They all have Christian bands and there are Christian websites listing who to vote for.
you know, I should rephrase that..At work I was told there are Christian blogs and they support the Christian contestants. (That's a little more accurate!)

OK, I know this doesn't matter to everyone, but today Chris Daughtry confirmed that they will be debuting the first single from their next CD on Idol! SQUEEE!
I've also heard that Slash has been asked to be a mentor. Jordin is scheduled to perform as the guest on the top 3 week.
So my best guess is that Rock Week with Slash as mentor will be top 4 week, and Daughtry will perform their new single on the results show that week.
So happy.

Yay for a new Daughtry single
And I am SO EXCITED for rock week!! Partially because I have been waiting for Adam to break out anything Guns 'n' Roses, Queen, or Aerosmith all along.
But maybe even more so because I couldn't ask for a better theme on the week I'm foreseeing to be Allison's MOST important week. I'm assuming that this week Matt will easily be the one to go. And hoping that last week's close call has gotten Allison fans off their butts and ready to vote again. So I think she should be okay this week (she just needs to pull out something strong and consistent). But then I think in the final 4 it's going to take a lot for her to beat Danny. I feel like Kris has been inching his way up, and at this point is pretty good for a spot in the top 3. But it's going to be between Danny and Allison for who gets that 3rd spot. So if she can ROCK IT like I know she can with that theme, that should hopefully be just the push she needs to get in there over Danny
But yeah, Adam. Rock week. EPIC. My top preferences would be "Cryin'", "Sweet Child 'O Mine", "Welcome to the Jungle", or "Somebody to Love". Pleeease Adam? Pretty please? :)
(and if Adam doesn't do "Cryin'", Allison needs to! Actually, Allison would rock "Somebody to Love" too. But really that song just has Adam's name ALL over it)

I'm not positive that there is going to be a rock week. Only that Slash was approached to mentor, and Daughtry is definitely debuting their new single on Idol. It just sort of stands to reason from that that there will be a rock week.
I've heard Allison really wants to do Barracuda by Heart.
I've also heard alot of buzz about Welcome to the Jungle for Adam, but you know how he is. He never does the expected!

Adam's got the chops for it, obviously, but I don't anyone besides Axl can sing that song and not look like a damn fool (and even he does, a lot of the time). He needs to pull out Queen, or "Dream On" or something like that.

Out of the 4 songs I listed, Cryin' and Somebody to Love are the songs I actually love and would seriously KILL to hear. I'm not the hugest Guns 'n' Roses fan, I just know Adam could kill it if he did do one of those songs :)
Ok, I say Allison can do Cryin' and Adam can do Somebody to Love. That way they can each have an "omg EPIC" moment And then, since they each do two songs, Allison can also do Barracuda, and then Adam can do something else that's a little more subdued.

I'd love Adam to do Queen and/or Zepplin. I hate to think of anyone doing Dream On since the girl who's name I'm blanking on MURDERED it on RS: INXS, but I do think Adam could do it.

Secret Chart Reveals Idol's Top Seller
Producers for American Idol didn't want anyone to know which contestants are selling the most downloads on iTunes, because it might spoil the results of the show or favor one contestant over another. But last week a glitch in Apple's software revealed an Idol ranking, giving fans a look at who's on top on iTunes, the New York Post reports.
Adam Lambert is way ahead, taking six of the top 10 spots on the Idol list. His rendition of "Mad World," which earned him a standing ovation from Simon Cowell, is in the No. 1 spot on the secret chart.
