Alec Baldwin Kicked Off Of Airplane For Playing Words With Friends

As someone who's had to deal with him in the past I TOTALLY believe his version of this...

From a source who is a Steward on AA: It was the pilot that turned the plane around after Baldwin slammed the bathroom door in first class after the altercation.

Having worked many times with Mr Baldwin, he had to be provoked to act out.

I myself have run into Stewardesses from hell in my travels and I too have had verbal altercations with them, over simple things like asking them for my meal 5 minutes after they passed by while I was napping.

This actually happens a lot, I guess. I was once on a plane where a minor hip-hop performer and his entire entourage were thrown off because he wouldn't turn off his phone before takeoff. (how minor was he? well, he was in coach with me!) I didn't even hear raised voices or anything. We just went back to the gate, they got off and the captain announced why.

I've actually had nothing but really good experience with AA Cabin Crew. And I fly AA alot (they are my American Domestic Airline of Choice).

The amusing thing is this would've been a first class Cabin Crew person, and in my experience when I've been in a Domestic First Class is it takes alot to ruffle the Cabin Crew's feathers. I'm guess from being delayed to begin with all tempers from all parties concerned where pretty freyed.

I actually love the old warhorses that are AA's trolley dolleys :) They certainly make the trip! I remember one MAI-DFW flight the old dear looked like she was going to tople over from handing out the soft drink cans as she looked that old and frail (but absolutely charming none the less!)

Oh, really? You mean like the time he was provoked to leave this message for his 11 or 12-year-old (he can't remember which) daughter on her birthday?

Please, You submit a telephone message without the background that caused it. Not that I profess to know what events caused it.
However, coming from a home where parents divorced on not too friendly terms, I am well aware the games that get played and how the kids can be used by one or both parties Against the other. I am very familiar with those types of phone calls from my Dad, berating me for a missed event or meeting. I also know that there were actions I did, whether on my own accord or at the prompting of my Mom and Step Dad that warranted that type of response.

Evidently it was not the word game that got him expelled from the plane but the slamming of the bathroom door the the pilots heard in the cockpit.

There is no amount of contextual information that would make that phone message okay.

It also takes a special kind if person to ruffle Jan Maxwell's feathers, and he managed to do that as well.

I adore AB's work on 30 Rock, but his off screen behavior is less than respectable, and when something like this is reported it is easy to assume that he is at fault.

As rich as Alec Baldwin is, why is he flying commercial?

No, there is really no reason to condone the phone message. There is also no reason for the phone message to be made public to further embarress the child either. That too is abuse.
