I was at the taping Wednesday, and he was brilliant. I've never seen Whoopi laugh so hard (and this was a whole show full of comics).
He and Whoopi were talking during the break, and he said later that she'd said he had to come back and co-host sometime . . . and he's doing it next Thursday!
I was at the taping, too! He was by far the highlight.
Wasn't he?
(I wish I'd known. You'd think I'd've noticed someone in a long black wig, with a hook . . .)
Was he on today??? I watched Colin Quinn and could only handle about two seconds of that chortly churchy lady before I turned it off.
HAH. No, Boris Karloff wasn't available to go with me.
"I am going to stun you. Stunning!"
"He's from Compton"
I was on the floor! he was a riot throughout the interview.
He's about three-quarters of the way through. The Star Trek stuff was hysterical.
It's online now.
Alec Mapa on THE VIEW
I may have spoken too soon. I guess it will be online eventually.

I've heard his Star Trek routine before but it is still pretty funny. I like him. He is good people.
Just what we need--another flamboyant fag. He is as bad as Mario Cantone, Sean Hayes, etc. So to get on TV you have to be 'fabulous' huh?
So speaks the model of masculinity who posts drooling messages about how hot the guys are on "The Price Is Right."
fflagg likes the closet cases and sideburned poster boys from 35 years ago.
If you don't look like the ideal face on a role of toilet paper, you just don't measure up.
Even if most of the "Marlboro Men" and "Bounty Boys" are dead of cancer now.
He's so adorable. I loved him on Desperate Housewives and in Connie & Carla.
"I'm 'N Cream. I hate my name!" hahahahahaha

I think I saw fflagg's face on a PIECE of toilet paper once.
It was stuck to my shoe.

It would be our lucky day if that were true.
Not to threadjack, but ffagg is truly my least favorite poster. What a waste of cyber space. I can only imagine what an absolute horror of a human being he is in real life.
Back to Alec Mapa, an out, proud gay man who has worked tirelessly for countless GLBT causes and has recently adopted a child who desperately needed love and care . . .
He was wonderful on the show; can't wait for next week!

I was one of the dozen of viewers who watched the sitcom "Some of My Best Friends" based on "Kiss Me Guido." Though it had just as many issues as anything Marc Cherry touches, Alec Mapa was the complete highlight. I recently saw the pilot on Comcast On Demand and I laugh the minute he shows up as Vern.
THE VIEW's website has announced that he will be a co-host this Thursday. Can't wait!
