I think Tyra just decided that it was time for a plus-size winner, which is why they kept pushing Whitney along after being in the bottom 2 four times.

Whitney took some of the most beautiful photos. It will be interesting to see if she goes back to dark hair, though, because she may be too stereotypically blond and buxom.

Congrats to Whitney! She looked TO DIE FOR in that pink dress!!!!!!
IMO, this was an impressive top 3, one of the best if not the best.
Also, I do believe that Anya was never in the bottom 2, so if that's right she joins Joanie as being a runner-up never to be in the bottom 2.

Also, since it was said that Tyra was going to walk off the show or something like that, I got a little tense when Tyra was questioning Paulina's comments about Anya!

Even though Whitney is from my hometown, I was rooting for Anya. She seemed like such a sweet, genuine girl. However, it was so obvious they wanted Whitney to win. On the final runway, Anya got the super tight dresses that were really hard to walk in (even Paulina said that). Whitney's dresses were much easier. Then they kept saying how she worked the runway. She was way too bouncy. A couple of years agao, they ripped on Nic for bouncing too much yet they celebrated Whitneys. Anyway, as soon as Anya won so many challenges, I knew she wouldn't win. Look at YaYa, Melrose, Nnenna- all of whom won so many challenges and yet didn't win. Whitney is a size 8- an 8- and that's considered plus size- that's my goal! Whitney is definitely beautiful and they can work on making her presence more genuine. She attended performing arts schools here in town. I just think it's great that 2 girls (Yoanna and Whitney) are both from the same area. I have a feeling she'll be doing more face shots than runway- but who knows? Also, I wonder why Gilles Bensimon wasn't part of the prizes this year. I did see the "Fiercees". Tocara looked fabulous! Shandi and Jael- well... Norelle was pretty. Jade was a little scary- hated her hair. Anyway, that whole show as such a joke but it was good to see some of the past cast members. That was the first time I saw Nicole since she won. Caridee looked a little strange too.

Yay Whitney!

She totally deserved her win. The commercial was a tie, her cover girl photo was the best, by far...and her runway was much better than Anya. Dresses aside, Anya had NO presence and Whitney lit up the stage. She had a good bounce, not like Nik who not only bounced in an odd way, but bounced her head too.

I am not saying it wasnt fixed, and there is some evidence to suggest it...rumor has it that Whitney was already a model and was approached by the producers to "audition"...but that she'd have to put on some weight as she was only a size 6. We know Saleisha was a fix from the beginning...here is Whit as a smaller size:


Still, I'm not believing anything except she deserved her win, and I picked her from the beginning. Anya took some good photos (the paparrazzi photo was great, but an accident, as Nigel noted several times) but in the "lets take a look at your photos" segment last night, side by side, they were even. Anya was better in the paint splatter and the weird plastic/water pics, Whit took the music star and cover girl shoots.

It was so clear that Jay and Tyra wanted Whitney, Paulina wanted Anya and Nigel was on the fence...but leaning toward Whitney...scripted? Probably...but still correct.

Whit's main problem, and what kept putting her in the bottom two was her presence (I give Anya credit for her commercial...her personality was great, but she couldnt get thru her lines!)

Still, beautiful girl won, and will never work again.

Cant wait for Cycle 11!

I totally called it.

I've no doubt Whitney may boomerang between sizes as most tend to do who have a few extra pounds, but are not obese. Who knows where or when the photos were taken? The press likes drama and when they can't find it, they create it. The photos were probably found and a rumor concocted to surround them. I think it's a far cry from the Saleisha fiasco and really seems forced.

Whitney looked gorgeous on the runway and Anya looked totally vacant. Whitney also beat her in the final commercial and photo shoot as far as I'm concerned (I thought Anya's Cover Girl photo was absolutey hideous). Anya's looks started to appeal to me a bit in the last couple of shoots, but I never saw anything that really grabbed me. Whitney has a face that commands attention and as she proved on the runway, she can absolutely take control of a show with unabashed confidence and verve. She owned that runway.

I saw the pictures and thought people would like to see them... and said there was a rumor...not that I believed it.

What I said was that it doesnt matter because the best model won...just to clarify.

Doodle, thanks for posting those pics of Whitney! I think she's beautiful, thinner OR heavier.

As far as it being fixed, it always is. Tyra decides the winner no matter what other histrionics the others make.

Oh doodle...I wasn't criticizing you! I'm just so over the press always trying to manufacture conflict, especially when it could potentially ruin someone's life or career.
