Eh, I was only half listening. Sounded good to me, but maybe she wouldn't have sounded as good if I was paying attention. Simon did say that the first part was terrible, and I usually agree with him. When I said had my vote I didn't actually mean I was voting for her... I don't really vote. Someone has to really wow me(or be Anthony) for me to vote.

Janay I think has 'potential' but she looks like a deer in headlights out there, she looked petrified today. I was kind of annoyed when Paula was telling her fans to vote for her. Why would you want her in the top 12, meaning someone better is not?

They should can all the women and make it just the men....the men really outshine all those girls this year !!!! This coming from someone who is not a fan of most male vocalists.

I definetly think Janay and Constantine REALLY need to go. Along with Scott, but as for the girls, I really only like 2 or 3 of them, so I couldn't say who else I'd want off this week.

I like Anthony and nadia the best

They do need to can the women. I was also a little irked thatthey kept infering "Somewhere " as a Streisand song. Have they ever heard of " West Side Story" ? HELLO???????

I was bothered by them calling it a Streisand song, as well; but then I read this message board and people here are doing the same thing. It's a Streisand song in that the worst version I ever heard of it was sung by her, otherwise, I never think of her when I hear it.

No, the WORST version was Mikalah doing Steisand. That girl might have raw talent and a nice voice, but she is in serious need of training before she tries taking her "show on the road".

No. The worst version of it I ever heard was Streisand's. How can you disagree with what was the worst version I ever heard??? How would you know what the worst version I ever heard was, unless I told you, and I just did. It was Streisand's!

overall a very disapointing season so far. A bunch of average singers. There is no stand-out ie Kelly, Clay etc...

I still think it is better than last year's. That was the worst one, in my opinion. The guys, alone, in this one are better than the person who won last year.

Is anyone else just bored to TEARS by AI at this point?

I cannot stand the performers gesticulating wildly, throwing in ill-fitting riffs, dressing like wardrobe only offers the XOXO Collection...and the same, cliched comments from the judges.

3 yrs of Randy saying "a'ight" and "dawg," Paula sticking up for the underdog (and WHY is she of all people judging a singing competition???), and Simon saying the usual.

It's all blurring together. I miss the excitement of the first year with Kelly Clarkson (still the most talented Idol).

Yep. Nothing beats the first year; but I suppose that's to be expected. I still have hopes for this season. A step up from last year. Why do we need the judges, once the public starts voting? It's all filler. But, would we miss them, if they weren't there? Who knows. I think we would. Simon is actually the worst one this year. He has such tunnelvision. Everybody has to fall into some neat little stereotype for him. He's such a bore.

I still love the first year of AI with Kelly and Justin...yes I liked him....but this year is much more entertaining and has much better singers. Kelly was unique but this year I love some singers, some performers... mainly Mario, Bo, Nikko, Anthony, Scott and ANWAR. Updated On: 3/9/05 at 02:40 PM

So who's being cut tonight?? I think it should be Constantine (who I can't stand) and Travis (who I like); but it will probably be Scott and Travis. As for the women, certainly Janay needs to go and Nadia should stay; otherwise, I don't care.

i sure hope constantine goes! One more week of him and will go crazy! Well maybe not but i still can't stand him. I think travis and janey will be going but besides that, i am not sure. I believe that by the end of this competition, it will be the guys dominating. Except for maybe nadia and carrie, i find the girls very weak. I was upset when aloha was kicked off last week. I just hope that anwar and bo remain.
