Yay!!! I am so so SO glad she is gone. And love that she ssng Last Dance. She will not be making music or money, at least I hope not!

No shock at all. David is terribly cute, but this crooning thing: he doesn't nail it and he should be able to sing other styles.

I have never watched American Idol. This is my first season and I have to say I am terribly disappointed. Why the prolonging of the bad news? It seems cruel and unnecessary. I decided to watch this show to see people singing but what I got was a pseudo reality show that tries to create drama when it should be concentrating on talented people performing.

edit: and JRB you are right. There is nothing wrong with crooning, but David was not nailing it.

Chita - it's definitely 40% talent show and 60% reality show, but I watch because every season, so far, they have given exposure to some talented singers.

i can't believe kevin was in the bottom 3- he really deserved better than that i thought, to pull off a song like heard it through the grapevine!!! and he's so sweet and genuine, it really feels like the show will lose something when he goes home.
