i dont get it. Kinnik was WAY off pitch, and she said she knew it. so if she knew, why didn't she stop doing it! i hate peoples excuses for singing off-key.

Riiiight...so Kellie's "working hard on her knees," and suddenly Simon decides he likes her better than Carrie, who at least was more genuine. SaLmon? Mink? REALLY?? Uh huh. I love the guys though...they barely gave that dipsh*t any love after the judges encouraged them to.

And I'm still giggling over how Ryan would find it "heavenly" if Simon would yell "We got a hot one tonight!!" to the "dawg" pound.

Paris - getting more forgettable each week. Which is too bad because she does have some major talent.

Lisa - gets major props for singing that great song from Camp (that the judges all hated). She is a diva songstress in the making - always dressed in her pretty party dresses and sparkly sandals. Totally like her.

Melissa - I actually like her voice. This song didn't do anything for me though. I think she may be out.

Katharine - Great voice, but something about her - it's like she's just "singing," (and singing very well) but not really connecting or performing. I can't put my finger on it. She's cute though.

Ayla - I've always liked Ayla. I hope she stays this week and steps it up next week. I would hate to see her go, but the performance was blah. She also should wear her hair down (the ways she does in the interviews) because with her hair up, she looks too "done" and way too old.

Mandisa rules. Nuff said.

Kinnik - Meh. Nothing spectacular, but I don't think it was a TOTAL trainwreck the way the jusges were all over her. Yes, she had some pitch issues, but I've seen worse (ahem, Pickler) and judges fawn still fawn all over the other person (ahem Pickler).

Pickler - Someone please shut this idiot up and get her off the show. She can't sing worth a dang. Her pitch was way off and the judges fawn all over her like she's the bomb. And the "aww shucks," dumb blonde routine is really starting to grate on me. Sure, she's cute and marketable, but c'mon - Sall-mon? What's a minx? Get off it!

So - guys sing tonight!

That's exactly how I feel about Katharine, and I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Pickler's been getting on my nerves since the beginning with the milking of the family sob story. The "calamari" thing from last week was annoying as hell, and after the "mink" comment, she just seems like a countrified version of Jessica Simpson. I'm sure she'll make the top 12, though - she's got the looks and the sob story to coast on, plus there were a few other performances that were just out-and-out clunkers last night.

I heard somewhere that the weird stuff they say "calaman" and "mink" and other just weird words that Simon says is a bet. Each show he is bet he can't use a word in describing a performance, so he tries to fit it in somewhere.

Billboard Girl, oh, how I thought the same thing. His song WAS boring though. I was totally thinking that during it. Thankfully he had the most minor of pitch problems.

I'm not the biggest fan of the kid with the glasses. I'm just like, "Okay, nice voice... big deal."

Kevin should die. He just picked one of my favorite songs and butchered it. Seriously what are Paula and Simon thinking, that was a BORING performance. He was off pitch and just bleh. He better be gone this week.

Ok so maybe he shouldn't die...but someone should hit him.
