i hope she outlasts the pickler though. i used to like her but she gets more annoying as the thing progresses. (the hillbilly actress..she even copies katharine's weird dance moves and acts giddy but when she does it its "cute")

I think Katharine has the potential to be as good, if not, better than Mandisa, but time will tell.

speaking of which, here is a clip of him and will from the hollywood rounds and i must say that will sounds really good in it! atleast to me. i wish he would sing more songs like that on AI, but sadly, i dont think he will get the chance. not enough 11 yr old girls in the u.s.

I'm not talking about talent, I'm talking about presentation - Katharine has done two very mediocre performances two weeks in a row. Perhaps she's capable of being amazing - but she's not showing anything near her potential as of yet, and she's not as distinct as lot of the other (perhaps less talented) contestants. She's just not connecting.

I can't stand Melissa.. Ayla definately deserved to be in the top 12... as did Gideon. Kevin is a complete and utter joke. American shouldn't vote pity on this kid. He's just going to go home next week and it's going to hurt him worse. Melissa will go.. then bucky.. then the show will be semi decent again.

Gedeon got screwed. It was probably all that "God Bless You" and "I've Been Saved" crap. And the way he described his record/world painting. The way he spoke was a little spooky. But I thought he hit the ball out of the park with his rendition of When a Man Loves a Woman. He sang it even better tonight than last night. Too bad.
