Katharine was really strong and I enjoyed seeing her sing with a little fire to her and that dress was sexy as hell. Was glad to finally see her showing off that body a little bit.

I thought Elliot was very good vocally, but I agree with Randy & Simon about the arrangement of the song.

Pickler was, well, if there's any justice she will at least be in the bottom three tomorrow and should go home. It's so obvious that she's just not in the same league as the other five on a singing level. She's got a decent voice, but it's very raw and there's no way she could hold up over any type of tour, etc.

Paris bored the hell out of me. My wife actually turned to me and said, "Damn, when did Barbara Streisand turn into a black girl?" We get it, your voice is good, but she her personality is just not there.

Taylor probably had his worst performance of the season tonight. I thought it was a very good performance...for a wedding singer which the tux reminded me of.

Chris was good. THe first half of the song was very rough, but the second half got a lot better. My thing though is why did everyone go out on the stage by themselves, but Chris gets two mariachis?

Bottom three will probably be Kellie, Paris, and Elliot. Bottom three should be Kellie, Taylor, and Paris.

Oh jrb, thank you for putting your first vote towards Elliott!

Perfection. I'm not even going into the depths of how strongly I reacted to his performance, but for once I felt like Paula Abdul's kindred spirit. And can we talk about that suit?! Oh honey!!

To clarify: B.S. wrote the lyrics for THE WAY WE WERE. Marvin Hamlisch wrote the music.

Jon, I think the Bergmans wrote the lyrics to The Way We Were.

Streisand wrote nothing of "The Way We Were" she wrote the music to "Evergreen."

My favorite left in the competition is Paris. With these being said, she will be going home tommorrow.

According to dialidol.com, Paris is going, and I agree as well. I love her to death, but it is her time.

She will go.

Yeah, I noticed Kat's wardrobe malfunction right away. But she handled it well.

While I thought some of the performances were great (Chris, Kat), Elliot was the only one that blew me away. He was fantastic! I've been an Elliott fan since day one and I'm hoping this performance will keep him around a bit longer. Seriously, I dare anyone to say Kellie was better than Elliott.

Every week I want Pickler to go home, but I also don't care if it's Taylor. I love Paris but the judges were right...she oversang it.

I think the judges may have a different opinion of Kat after they see the video...they sometimes take back their neg. remarks, and I believe they heard pitch problems with Kat that I certainly didnt.

Elliot was just as good as I knew he could be. While still not a great performer, the kid can sing for me anytime.

Kellie stinks, but whoever said it before is correct...she has potential and needs lessons...that said, she needs to go, but wont.

Paris - why dont they call on her for oversinging? Why does she take on that stupid accent? Who taught her that? She does have a good voice, but I hate that she tries to sound like Dinah Washington or Sarah Vaughan, cause she aint! I've grown tired of her.

Taylor was not that bad, and i do like him and usually his perf/voice...I believe his quirks as genuine and feel his musicalization...he gets it, but that was not a great perf. last nite.

Chris still bores me to tears and his voice (especially his machine gun vibrato) grate on me. I am so glad he was finally called out on his bad technique....shame it didnt resonate, cause he still sang that song without using his diaphragm.

I thought I saw a wardrobe malfunction with Kat last night! So it wasn't all in my head.

Kat - I thought she was quite good last night, actually. I think the judges get super-critical whenever someone plays the Whitney card. But regardless of what the judges said, Kat was good.

Elliott - Once again, wonderful voice. He is pretty much my favorite now.

Kellie - I'm not even going to bother with this one. She needs to go home already.

Paris - Love the song. Was a little bored.

Taylor - Was a solid B+. When I heard he was singing that song, I had high expectations. it wasn't bad, but I wanted more.

Chris - Not my favorite song, but very good performance.

Bottom three: Taylor, Paris, Kellie. Even though it should be Kellie that goes home, I think it will be Paris.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

DialIdol.com predicts Kellie or Paris to go tonight.

If Kellie stays in longer than Paris, I will not be a happy camper. And I was shocked with their negative remarks to Katherine, I thought she nailed it...pitch problems? not really...

I love that Paula Abdul, queen of the flat pop singers, kept saying people were flat.

I love seeing all these Elliott fans!! Everytime I mention to my friends that he's my fav, they make fun of me because he has "messed up teeth". Whatever though...all I know is that Kelli is getting way too annoying and she go, but I have this feeling it'll be Paris leaving tonight...

I agree, Bobby. I find it ironic that the singer of such vocally impressive songs as "Straight Up," "Forever Your Girl," and "Rush, Rush" is judging people who are immensely better singers than her and they're pitch problems.

Without going into the painkiller thing again, Paula was very out of it last night. It was quite painfull to watch when she actually cried. I hope she gets the help needed. Though it's her problem to deal with, it bothers me that the producers haven't tried to help her more.

I'm not huge on Elliott, and it has nothing to do with his awful teeth. There is something quite amateur about him. He kind of looks like a little kid playing pop star dress up. He just doesn't do it for me.

Paris is my fav, though she butchered my favorite song of all time last night, but I forgive her since her performance last week was brilliant.

Even Chris is starting to become dull to me. This has to be the worst season yet.

OMG paula crying last night was so pathetic. HE WASNT THAT GREAT.

Who did she cry for? Elliot? Yeah, that has to be the most painful moment to watch all season. (and we all know there have been painful moments galore)

The best thing was watching Simon try not to openly bust out laughing during Paula's whole "You are an American Idol" speech. And she just got her contract renewed too!
#1323

I think it's time for them to set a few ground rules with Abdul, though I imagine, they think her strange behavior is great for ratings.

I like Paris' singing! I hope she doesn't go tonight. I think she's smooth, professional and hardly pitchy.

I agree with the judges who told Katherine she's the professional among the rest of the amateurs. Did she perform on broadway already? Are pros allowed in this competition?

Kelly-not good enough yet but has potential.

Chris-very good singer but isn't my fav.

Elliott-Can definitely sing but it's not only his teeth, it's his whole jaw which throws me off. Don't get me wrong-you don't have to be a beauty to win, but I'm distracted by his mouth, lol!

I don't understand how Taylor is in this contest. To me, he looks like a bumbling clutz when he tries to dance and I'm not fond of his singing. He needs to go tonight, but I think it may be Kelly who does.
