The guys were terrible. The only one I can see going anywhere else in the competition are Ace, Taylor, Elliot and Chris and, really, not a one of them is a great singer. Taylor's the best of the group, although I think Ace can cruise on his look for a long time. The other eight were embarrasing. The judges ought to be ashamed of themselves for not putting through anyone better than those guys.

This year is a guys year.. I predict the final 3 will end with :
Ace,Chris and Katharine.. and Chris will win. Ace is HOT and good but, he's another constantine and probably will wind up getting a deal on his own. Chris.. has some major talent and really doesn't need the show.

I'm so pissed that I missed it. I think its time for a male Idol, though.
So far, my favorite women are Katharine and Paris. And based on auditions only, Chris, of course (agree, Jerby..he's HOT) and Elliot.

While I think Taylor has a great voice, I can imagine him grating on America's nerves.

I think Ace is the cutest. Chris might be cute w/o the chops.

And Taylor Hicks Ray Charles crap is getting old and really annoying... just like that other guy with the rat pack trash.

My favorite female is Paris. And not because we share a last name.

Are you serious? The twang is probably what people love. I doubt they'd vote another Red State mascott in. Then again, what do I know about America's tastes. Ugh.

IMO, Pickler is coasting on her sob story and the voice isn't really there. Then again, I couldn't stand Carrie last season and she won.

becky reminded me of ryan starr from season 1? though ryan wasnt eliminated on the first round, still both were not that great.

i liked Katharine's response to a question she answered online and i agree with it.

Do you think the audition process was fair?
No, they let go of some really good people and kept people who were pretty.

and i agree with the too tan girl. why is she still there?? i hope kinnik makes it far and paris and katharine and lisa. guys-im not sure yet. though taylor hicks scares me! hes good, but scary
