As much as I love her, does anyone else think that Jordin is insincere. Her emotional outbursts, especially on wednesday i didn't buy.

I love as well. but I agree with you.

I only caught the end last night, but man, what a weak group. The only males I kind of like are Blake and Phil. But Blake's beatboxing is already grating on my nerves and were' not even to the top 12 yet. And Phil is good at times but in no way consistant.

The only contestant I like enough to make me watch all season is Melinda. Just not sure that's enough reason.

The "new" Paula is boring me. It was more fun when she was bat-s#!t crazy.

Jerby, Blake SCARED me with that Halloween character. It made him look like a completely different person, and not in a good way. Great performance though, and I loved the song choice. I got my minimum of 10 votes in for him last night. re: American Idol - Performance Appraisals

I think Seacrest wants him. Did you see how flustered he got last Tuesday when he was announcing his voting phone number?

Last night was my first time voting for an American Idol contestant. I've just never felt compelled to. Then I decided I wouldn't just say, "Oh, I like him the best. I hope he wins or is in the top 12." Rather, I did something about it! =]

Haha, I was proud of myself. But I didn't realize I could text/vote more than once. I'll do that next time.

Anyway, I liked Blake.

SNL--does this mean he's all mine? You don't want him no more? re: American Idol - Performance Appraisals

It showed me that he's definitely an actor, a comedic one--and that's hot.

Who are you kidding, Jerby? The war has just begun. re: American Idol - Performance Appraisals

I love that he's into sketch comedy and improv, two of my biggest passions. Definitely hot.

VOTE FOR BLAKE!

I think it's sad that two of the three judges don't know the word "surname."

How many more weeks until we've got a show where all the contestants can actually match pitch?

Melinda is proving herself to be smarter and smarter each week. She avoids doing songs that are associated with a particular artist, which helps avoid comparison. The other contestants should follow her example.

Melinda Doolittle is just a little ball of joy. She's so good it's scary.

Melinda gave me f***** chills this week. LOVE her. And love Simon's reaction, hee.

I think Gina did well too. I hate Evanescence, but she sang the hell out of that and looked great.

Ryan looked like a floating head tonight, and that damage control hug was too funny.

Two bj jokes in two nights? Nice.

I know I've said this multiple times on this board, but Chris Richardson and Blake all the way! These are the only guys that will end up on the radio. Ya know how you're supposed to learn from history? You can learn a lot from Idol history! The last time I heard Taylor must have been in July.

Melinda was just a big ball of diva attitude during her song, and then a bigger ball of sunshiney humility afterwards. You can tell that she's really a humble, shy person who has a stellar personality while she's singing, but is still a down-to-earth, grateful woman in conversations.

Ok, so after listening to all the girls, I have to say, Stephanie really lost me tonight. Something about her performance irked. It wasn't exactly bad, but it was completely uninteresting.

Also, is there any doubt that either Melinda or Lakisha will win this year? I mean honestly, any doubt whatsoever?

oh and Gina and Jordin really kicked ass tonight.

my prediction on the final 6 girls

in no order

Lakisha
Melinda
Gina
Sabrina
Jordin
Antonella (how this bitch gets any votes is beyond me, but its clear she has a following. Expect to see her out last most of the guys but be out before the final 6.

I am also in love with Melinda...they should allow her to sing 2 songs a week. re: American Idol - Performance Appraisals

Now..I think they should do an American Idol's Idol..have all past winners competite against each other...who'd do you think would win? I would still go with Kelly Calrkson. re: American Idol - Performance Appraisals
