Don't hold back because of me. Everyone has the right to their opinion.
She's not my sister or anything. Just an old choir buddy.
I wanted to show my support for her. But that doesn't blind me to the fact that the song choice was just wrong. If she does make it through, she'll have to REALLY step it up.

I always wondered exactly how much of a choice they actually have in what song to perform. I'm sure they're given a list to choose from by the producers and for variety sake, if nothing else, encouraged to choose songs that don't sound too much like all the others. And contractually, I'm sure they're forbidden to discuss the process in any way, shape or form.

From interviews and what not, they always seem like they have pretty much free rein, as long as the song can get approved to be done on air.

I missed most of All By Myself cause my CHinese food got here and i had to go downstairs and grab it.
but it started out good and from what she said when i got back in the room the judges liked it.
