Actually, when that chick asked David out on a date David was thinking, "Um, do you have a BROTHER?"
Ok, so now people are starting to speculate about that, and.. am I honestly the only one who does NOT get the gay vibe from him!? haha
And trust me, I could care less if he was! In fact probably 90% of my celeb crushes are gay anyway haha. I don't know why, but I just.. have a thing for gay boys :P So yeah, it's not like I'm denying it because I don't WANT him to be. In fact knowing my track record he probably is just because I like him haha. But seriously, I just.. don't see it. David and Michael have always seemed the most straight to me from this season.
well at least you've accepted your life long obligation of fag haggery.

LOL! :P
no seriously, it's kind of annoying actually. The cutest most awesome boys are always gay. And seeing as I'm a straight girl, that does not work out well. LIFE

If you'd seen the clip of him singing "And I Am Telling You" to Kelly Clarkson and the other AI Season 1 contestants when he met them, you'd definitely get the gay vibe. How many straight guys enjoy singing songs written for big black girls?
little david

Maybe that's why he looked so perplexed and hesitant when the girl on the phone asked him out!
I knew I wasn't the only one that got the vibe from Cookie. And it's not just wishful thinking. I just sense something!

Jon, that clip is a young David Archuleta. They were talking about David Cooke.

oh yeah yeah, I DO get the gay vibe from David A (although I suppose it could just be that he's young and very shy... but, it def comes across like he could be gay)
We were talkin' about David C though :)

Haha, see that one I just thought was a really akward situation, regardless of sexuality! I mean, I'm straight and if I were on a show and a guy called in and asked me on a date, I'd be a bit hesitant too! He doesn't know her! I really think his thought process was more along the lines of "... man this would be so much easier to decide if I could see a picture of her" :P
but again, I could be wrong! Doesn't matter to me- either way he's still mad sexy and adorable
OH speaking of David Cook being awesome

Next week, the judges choose songs for the contestants. Simon is making David Cook sing "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack.
Is David C. really singing The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack? That is an interesting choice, wonder why Simon picked it and what David will do with it. Does anyone know what else the top 3 are singing? I wonder if David A. will sing something for his preteen fans ie- Jonas brothers or some boy band tune? If he bombs, I am sure his fans will say it was unfair because his dad was banned from being backstage.

lol.
David A doesn't sing age appropriate songs, and Simon hasn't once called him out.
He would tell Paris Bennett and Jordin Sparks to stop singing ballads all the time. That they sing like 30 year olds.
Is that really his niche, as Paula would say? Female Pop Ballads from a seventeen year old boy?
I'll be voting for Cook like crazy from here on out.
This season has turned into a joke for me. It'll be fun watching tonight~
Yeah, I am disappointed with the final three, but whatever. I hope David Cook wins...I guess.
...and no more Jason to laugh at. I really don't care who wins.
So far, loved David A, hated David C.
David Cook is not doing his best this evening, he was shouting in that last song. He is my favorite, but I still don't know if I want him to win or not. It may be in his best interest to go this week. If he leaves though, there will be no reason to watch the finale.
Why didn't Paula and the producers pick more youthful songs for David A.?

Sabotage, I tell ya!
With songs like this, they should get new Producers.
I don't like David C at all.
Doesn't matter to me who wins at this point.
Jane are you referring to the producers' song choice for Syesha? I don't think Syesha can be a contemporary artist , she should stick with acting.
David Cook's last song was absolutely dredful. It was actually difficult to listen to. The judges obviously want him to have a lock on the final two. It's pretty obvious that it's going to be a battle of the Davids. And I don't beleive for one minute that the voting is as close as they would like you to believe. My prediction is that David A. walks away with it.
I think David A. will win as well, which is obviously who Randy wants to win. The judges have made it pretty obvious all season they wanted a battle of the Davids. I think Simon stated they would be the final two in an interview very early on, and you know he will always get what he wants. It will be interesting to see what song choices they pick for the Davids next week, in addition to the crappy winning single. Wonder if Simon will continue pull for DC and Randy for DA next week?
This season has been the most boring performance and personality wise, thank heavens for DVRs.
Sesot, no, I was joking in answer to your question why didn't Paula and the producers pick more youthful songs for David A.

Just got home and am catching up on the DVR. I've only seen Porkchop's first song so far. I thought he did a beautiful job.
