Wow! aggressive much luscious?
You obviously need a bammy fix. And what makes you think I'm voting for McCain? You are an odd bird.

Posted: 5/15/08 at 5:12pmAnyone craven enough to support David Cook over the Divine Pork Chop probably does support McCain! And a gay marriage ban, too! And eats Foie Gras! And hates Xanadu! And is glad Sutton Foster was deprived her god-given right to a Tony!

Amen joe, amen!
Btw, did you notice that Cat On A hot Tin Roof got snubbed for the Tonys?
Clearly the League is racist. I bet they don't support Obama either.

Posted: 5/15/08 at 10:31pmGood News- the producers of American Idol said they will go back to a half hour results show. Hopefully this will eliminate the group numbers. I think it would be cool if the judges picked an encore performance(a good performance , not the one getting the boot) vs the group number like dancing with the stars does.

I had a great vision of the Deal or No Deal models coming down the steps as Archie was sitting there singing.. kinda funny :-P
I preferred Cook's performance Round 1.
#814re: American Idol this Week
Posted: 5/20/08 at 8:29pmI disagree with all the judges on Archie's performance. It must sound different/better in the studio.

I thought David A's first performance was amazing.
Didn't like David C's second performance at all.

Posted: 5/20/08 at 8:36pmI thought Archie did well, but I thought round 1 although close, should have gone to Cook. It looks like the judges/producers are pushing for Archie to win. Honestly, they need to get rid of those crap "winning" songs. I will be surprised if they don't give round 2 to Archie as well, those crappy songs suit him much better. I am sure his is a power balad. Again, Archie will show no range.

Posted: 5/20/08 at 8:37pmWhoa! Did Arch choose a ballad?! NO WAY!!
#818re: American Idol this Week
Posted: 5/20/08 at 8:40pmArchie gets more and more predictable.
#819re: American Idol this Week
Posted: 5/20/08 at 8:42pmArchie has the tween votes and probably all of the Claymates.
#820re: American Idol this Week
Posted: 5/20/08 at 8:42pmPredictable, yes, but so far tonight he's performed better than Cook. I don't mean to seem biased, I'd actually be happier if Cook won, but Archie's in his (admittedly very limited) zone.

I do too, and I agree. It IS a progression. I don't get why contestants redo songs they did already - for instance, even though I liked him, Blake did "You Give Love a Bad Name" twice last year. Why? Show some growth or a different side of yourself and perform a different song.
Oh, and Cookie's performance of that song gave me chills. Take note, Archie. THAT is how you sing with feeling.

Posted: 5/20/08 at 8:55pmI enjoyed his performance a lot, but I think he just handed Pork Chop the title on a silver platter with that song choice.
