Is that a joke sesot?
ROBBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes Taz it was, there is no comparison. For some reason people thing David is the greatest and did an amazing job with that song- thought they could use a reality check.
Oh, sorry sesot. I just love me some Robbie!!
I agree; I don't understand why he hasn't had a bigger career in the states. He is sexy and very talented!

I love my Pork Chop but Robbie is Robbie.
He's also an international superstar with a long career of performing in front of stadiums full of people. If he couldn't out-perform a 17 year old I'd be worried.
I never understood it either sesot. I have all his cds (even that swing one) and his music is so great.
His lyrics do have a strong British sensibility though. Maybe Americans just never took to it.

Robbie (and I) suspect that his record label badly mis-handled his career in the states also. He was launched in the US using the same persona as in Britain- a James Bond-ish sex kitten who was much desired by women and more than a little cocky. It didn't make sense to audiences here who said "Who the hell does this guy think he is?"
Plus, they were sure that Angels was going to be his "I will always love you" (As in it was going to sell MILLIONS of copies no matter what) and so they tried to release two other singles first. By the time Angels was sent to radio (And MTV) he already had the rep as a failure and never got the airplay.
I'd love to post clips from his "Rock the DJ" video, but I can't.

There was talk that now they they both live in LA Robbie & Pal David Beckham were going to play the gay couple on Desperate Housewives. How great THAT would have been!
That'd get me to watch that show again!
The last episode I watched was the Halloween episode. Brie's daughter cracked me up with her mother's impression. Hilarious!
Anyway, back to Robbie & Becks, oh my god that'd be so hot!
That definitely would have increased the ratings! Too bad it didn't happen.

Knowing Robbie he would have demanded a make out scene.
Sesot, after the first note I knew Robbie's was better!
David A. doesn't come close to Robbie's performance. I am not familiar with Jessica Simpson's version of the song, but that may be the only version David A. can compete with; I am sure it wasn't any count.
What was that video where he undresses all the way, and then takes his skin off, and then his musculature, and so on.
It was more than a little icky, but I loved it!
Tazber....The icky video was "Rock DJ"

So Dial Idol says that the bottom three this week is David Cook, Syesha and Carly (With Carly being most likely to go home). So watch, AI will decide not to send anyone home this week....
There is a third show this week- Thursday night. No-one will go home on Idol Gives Back, which was filmed this weekend, they will go home on Thursday. If that is the bottom 3, Syesha or Carly better be the ones going home. I am surprised Brooke wasn't included.
