I haven't seen it in years. I don't think it's nearly as good as i remember originally hearing it was.
And Anna Nicole Smith makes me want to make macaroni and cheese.
And by Anna Nicole Smith I mean Clifton Collins jr.
And by make macaroni and cheese I mean become a better person.

What wine goes with mac & cheese?
Maybe Boone Farms Strawberry?

I'll let you know.
I was eating an apple. It went pretty well. I need to wake up in 5 hours, so I think I might abandon the whole dinner prospect and just call it a night.

Posted: 2/9/07 at 1:09amTraffic was never good. Of course, when I saw it my friends made us late to the theater so we had to sit in the front row. That movie is way too long to crane your neck like that.

5 hours? Ouch. Better skip the Boone Farms.

Posted: 2/9/07 at 1:18amThis is shocking. Very Sad about her new daughter too. The real father isn't even named yet. Was Anna Nicole taking care of this child anyways?

"Tee hee...........seriously though, I had a couple actor friends over earlier and we literally laughing our a$$es off reading some of the high drama and flowery stuff in some of these posts."
Anyone who boasts about having their "actor friends" over and sitting around laughing about other people's reactions to someone's death, is sad and pathetic and has the word L-O-S-E-R written all over them. In fact, why don't you stop hiding behind some childish alter-ego and have the balls to come out of the closet and reveal your true identity. Meaning the one you use on a daily basis, and not the one you use whenever you choose to insult someone or express an unpopular opinion. Bipolar, my ass.

I hope next the next time a Broadway legend dies, you all will have no problem with people making wine jokes in THAT thread.

One question: Do you think this is going to affect reality television at all? So much now is based on the--yes, self-perpetuated--voyeurism of celebrity train wrecks like Anna Nicole, Danny Bonaduce, Whitney Houston, Tom Sizemore, etc. Will this stop? Are people going to realize this isn't a game anymore to watch the fireworks of someones self-destruction? Or is the fact that they may die or rise above part of the suspense of the "story"? Go to Perez Hilton's website and the man pays lip service to how "sad" it all is, but there is an undeniable glee in it all that he clearly can't contain.
I laughed at the Anna Nicole Show, but I always felt a little queasy doing it (I didn't watch often). The woman made her demons into all-too-personal comedy performance art, and her death was the finale. Is it all over? Are the Bonaduces and Sizemores of the world going to have to do these things privately? Or do the public want more, more, more?

Posted: 2/9/07 at 9:49amReality T.V. tends to pander to the baser elements and aspects of human nature. I doubt that's going to change any time soon. There will always be an audience for this type of "entertainment". It's relatively cheap to produce and, apparently, there's an endless supply of willing participants. What do you want to bet that sales go through the roof and in a day or two there won't be one DVD of The Anna Nicole Show left to sell on Amazon or eBay?

Posted: 2/9/07 at 10:58amWhat a tragic end to a bizarre, sad, amusing life. I, for one, loved her. I thought she was hilarious, and I cannot even imagine how hard this last year must have been for her.

Posted: 2/9/07 at 1:09pmThe first time I saw this thread, I thought it was some off-the-wall joke. I am totally shocked by this news and I feel very sad for the baby girl and all involved. She may not have lived the most productive life in the eyes of some, but i think she had a good heart.

Well, at least it's not just me this time...
"You know what the irony and sad humor about this thread is?"
The fact that absolutely nobody agrees with you? Sorry, that's not sad at all. LOL
"But please, some of you with the facade of caring, you're fake. You just proved it."
Not really. You're comparing apples to oranges. Showing compassion for a person's death and showing anger when ridiculed, attacked, and offended are both understandable and plausible reactions that are not directly related. the only facade I see around here is your self-proclaimed superior intelligence that can't see to figure this out and your own hypocrisy in questioning the morality and charity of others.
But you are still very amusing! Your knee-jerk responses feigning intelligence are a riot! Mostly because the turn out to be so ironic! HILARIOUS!

This is strange. Birkhead posted basically a love letter to Anna on his official site with pics, etc.
now the site says..

It's working now. Here is what it says (if it goes down again):
"Chance brought us together, our love
couldn't keep us apart. We loved, we
laughed, we shared a connection that
couldn't be broken, regardless of the
challenges. I loved her in life and I will
love her long after.
Our daughter, Dannielynn is a constant
reminder of the love we shared and the
life that we desired.
My heart is broken, my tears are
endless. She called me her angel, I
called her my sweet potato, and every
night before we went to sleep, she
made me say to her...........
'GOODNIGHT MY SWEET ANNA BABY'
ANNA NICOLE SMITH
1967-2007"
Very sad...

apparently she died of a drug overdose (drugs which were in Howard K. Stern's name). She choked on her own vomit following a (drug-induced) seizure.
