Another reason Hillary Clinton irritates me — Page 4

So we finally have a candidate who's popular, attractive, a great speaker and who can likely win and our enthusiasm is likened to evangelism--that's just sad.

I'm sorry people don't get as excited about the other choices, but that's not really Obama's problem is it?

ANY follower has the potential to be scary.

Have you ever seen a film that had you walking out saying, "Wow, that was a pretty damn good film!"

And then a friend of yours goes and see the film and won't stop talking about it for days. How it was the best film in cinematic history. How anyone who wants to point out the tiniest flaw in the film is obvious ignorant of either cinematic history or whatever cultural zeitgeist was behind the creation of the film (perhaps a film about a mountain somewhere, even). How you yourself are somehow intellectually inferior for not agreeing with him or her to the fullest extent on that particular film. And also he or she constantly tells you how another film that you also liked that year was crap. Pretty soon, through no fault of that film itself, you start to resent that film, even though you thought and still think it was a pretty damn good film.

As I've said many times, I love both Clinton and Obama. I just think Obama has a better chance of winning and bringing this country a little more together.
