Best Willow moment ever.
Door bursts open. Glory turns, surprised. In Floats Willow, electricity curling around her, black eyes.
"I owe you pain!"
I squeeked like a little girl then.
Also, Dark Willow, kicking everyone's ass in the Magic Box. She says something to the effect of "no one can stop me."
Suddenly, a bolt of energy strikes her from behind and knocks her down.
Camera pans to Giles standing in the doorways. He says, "I'd like to test that theory."
cue bwaysinger squeeking again.

I love you, bwaysinger!
I once decided to make a shirt with that quote and the symbol Willow uses in "Gingerbread"...

I owe you pain is my favorite moment in the entire series, followed closely by the Giles moment.
Also, a great scene. When Anya has secretly been vengeance demoning again and Willow goes into the dorm hall and finds the girl int eh closet.
She makes the shield to protect them from the "spider," and the girl screams.
WIllow turns to her, black eyes, and says, "Shut up bitch!."
Then she gets rid of the spider, turns back around as normal Willow and meekly says, "sorry."
So perfect.

The Giles surprise in the Dark Willow episodes...so much squeeking at our house...
And then these lines that followed:
Willow: Uh oh. Daddy's home...I'm in wicked trouble now.
Giles: You've no idea.
It was ON. And I LOVED it.

Buy it. Buy a back-up copy. And then buy Angel.
Trust us.
Back to favorite moments, though. I just love that the cast of this show was able to be so, so funny, and then turn in amazing dramatic stuff. More of the Giles-Willow drama goodness:
During the fight over whether it was right of Willow to do the spell to bring back Buffy:
GILES: You were lucky!
WILLOW: I wasn't lucky. I was amazing. And how would you know? You weren't even there.
GILES: If I had been, I'd have bloody well stopped you. The magicks you channeled are more ferocious and primal than anything you can hope to understand, and you are lucky to be alive, you rank, arrogant amateur!
WILLOW: You're right. The magicks I used are very powerful. I'm very powerful. And maybe it's not such a good idea for you to piss me off.
Who would have thought Softer Side of Sears had that in her...

ok, when they stopped at the gas station to buy gifts for GIles and Tara got him the little zombie...and she makes the, "Grr! argh!" sound...dying!
Also, I have to confess, I have even gotten my boyfriend to start singing the "operatic" grr argh that is at the end of "Once More, With Feeling."
the operatic one is what I do when I'm frustrated but still have my sense of humor about me.

I have the Chosen One Collector's Box. It's worth it if you don't own any of the single season sets. Same discs, so you aren't missing any of the bonus features (and there is an extra bonus featurettes disc in the Collector's Box)
It's a matter of packaging preference.

"when they stopped at the gas station to buy gifts for GIles and Tara got him the little zombie...and she makes the, "Grr! argh!"
I loved ANY time they let Tara have a funny line.
Anya: But you get to dress up and play games. Xander's gonna teach me a new one after work called Shiver Me Timbers. Ever heard of it?
***
Anya: How about you? Ever played?
Tara: Not really one for the timber.

i do not have any of the seasons. so the collector's set is the whole series right? there used to be a "chosen" collection. and why is the collector's set so much cheaper than the "complete" series dvd?!?
i'm so confused.
the "collector's set" has a release date of "DVD Release Date: August 1, 2006"
ugh.

"I don't get this. The candy's supposed to make you feel all immature and stuff, but I've had a ton, and I don't feel any dif... Never mind."
Xander - Band Candy
The "Complete" series has every season in an own box whilst the other one has all the seasons in one box... Maybe that's why the prices are so different?

I love band Candy...and, of course, Joyce gets to wear her "it's so Juice Newton" coat.

The collector's set puts the seasons all together in one box. Much more compact. Same exact discs from the single season releases (same disc label pictures, same menus, same features) It's cheaper because it has much less packaging (One box instead of seven seperate fold-out books with more pictures)
The "Complete Series" is an Amazon bundle of the single season sets. Each individual season packaged seperately in a larger package.

Just get the cheaper one, RobbO. Give in to the dark side.
"Red rum! red rum!"
ooh, that's another surprisingly good episode, too.

"The best part of that episode is when Joyce and Giles exchange looks at the end..."
...and the payoff when Buffy finds out what happened between the two of them in Earshot.
EDIT- GuyfromGermany, just wondering, you have mentioned the German dubbing. How is the musical handled? I have heard the French dubbed songs. How does in come off in German?

They kept the songs in English and used subtitles... which made me really happy!
""For a thousand years I wielded the powers of The Wish. I brought ruin to the heads of unfaithful men. I brought forth destruction and chaos for the pleasure of the lower beings. I was feared and worshipped across the mortal globe. And now I'm stuck at Sunnydale High. Mortal. Child. And I'm flunking math."

Anya: Give me a beer.
Bartender: ID
Anya: I'm eleven-hundred and twenty years old, give me a frickin beer!
Bartender: ID
Anya: ...gimmie a coke.
I'm glad you got to hear the English vocals. The French songs are...interesting. I'm not sure how age appropriate the voices are...

I watch "Buffy" in English nevertheless... It's much better than in German!
So, did you order RobbO?
