I am a big Buffy fan too. I'll admit, I've always had a thing for Alyson Hannigan.
Yeah she looks really cool in Date Movie.
Loved Buffy Angel and Firefly great shows
Cordelia was always my favorite on both Buffy and Angel.
I like Spike and Anya from Buffy and Fred and Wes from Angel.

Renthead - yeah, I was thinking about seeing that just because she was in it... but, I decided against it.
Yeah the 1~3 seasons where the best I think the worst season was the 4th season because then she met Reiley and then things just got really strange.

I think sometime I want to sit down and watch all of the seasons in order. I watched it irregularly, and whenever I caught a rerun on tv.
Duroc, on another thread two days ago, we were actually discussing doing just that (and coordinating when and what episodes we'd watch) and having a discussion thread for all of us to converse!
My favorites from Buffy are Anya and Spike. Can't STAND Dawn/Michelle Tratchenberg though (as an actress or a person).

really? that's pretty cool. I don't own the seasons, but I have some friends at school who do. I'll prob. try to coordinate something with them next semester, once I'm back on campus, taking classes.
And, yeah, I agree Michelle Tratchenberg is an annoying character. It seems like all she ever did was get in the way.

I caught it towards the end of its last season, but I went back and watched most of the other seasons and loved it! I agree it got boring during the later seasons. I still haven't seen the musical episode, I may just have to rent that season just to see it. Is that episode in season six?

I'm not sure what season it's in but I heard it was supposed to be really good... the soundtrack alone sold something like 2 million copies.
I've rewatched the entire series - some of it is stronger than others, but most of the series is very strong.
I was disappointed when they ended Angel since I thought the last season with Spike was great. Spike was definitely one of my favorite characters - so funny.
Yeah the musical episode is in the 6th season. It has to be one of my favorite episodes.
Renthead, I totally agree about Buffy and the seasons. I loved the first 3 seasons...the 2nd was my favorite(huge Buffy/Angel fan), though 3rd was up there.
4th season was awful! Riley, the initiative, Adam...stupid story!
The show was never the same after they graduated High School and Angel left, but the 5th season I thought was an improvement over the 4th. Though I will always think Buffy should be with Angel, Spike was an improvement over Riley. (I love Spike as a character, just not with Buffy). 6th season was okay, some great episodes, still fairly dark. But I think the 7th season was worse than the 4th. I got so mad--Buffy would never have told Giles that he's taught her everything--Xander's eye going out, the stupid priest dude

I love the musical episode! I'm thinking about buying the sixth season just for that episode. I already have the first five. I can't stand Dawn either. She is the most whiny, annoying person.
I agree...I think it was the Spike/Angel dynamic...I loved it...they both knew each other so well they knew how to annoy the crap out of each other!
I first got hooked on Buffy because there was this guy on it who looked so familiar....I kept trying to figure out who he was....and then I got got my alumni magazine, and apparently I had gone to school with him (well, he was a senior when I was a freshman)...who was it? David Boreanaz! (Who by the way was NOT a theater major....which relates to a post on the main board)
I miss this show.....the writing was great...although I'll agree that I was not a big Riley fan..or that whole season with Adam...a bit bizzare. And yes Dawn was a pain...but I also dislked Tara, she just annoyed me!
Wasn't Hush during the fourth season though? That alone saves the year...
Yeah Dawn just got on my nerves about how lonely she would get boohoo who cares. I was very disappointed by the last season like with "the first" and stuff that was just to strange. I thought the sixth season was ok. I used to hate it but then when Willow got into the black magic again it got really interesting. I was disappointed that Tara could not be there for the last episode.
