I know
I should go
But I follow you like a man possessed
There's a traitor here, beneath my breast
And it hurts me more than you've ever guessed
If my heart could beat, it would break my chest
But I can see you're unimpressed
So leave me be and
Let me rest in peace
BEST part of that song...

Oh, no. Mustard on my shirt.
Mustard. I'll never get it out.
My favorite dress shirt.
Dry clean it.
How could you serve—
Mustard.
And I love Anya's (I'll Be) Mrs., as well

Oh yes! It's a beautiful song!
And I love how she spins on the chair Xander is sleeping in!

But on the whole, I’ve had no path.

I love Joss lyrics. And the continuity of remembering the ridiculous made up name she gave the Watcher's Council in Checkpoint- Anya Christina Emanuella Jenkins.

Joss ALWAYS seems to have better series character development for the "peripherals." I'll argue with ANYONE that no one develops over the course of Buffy/Angel better and more naturally than Cordelia.

Anya was one of the most beautiful brides I've ever seen...

"Anya Christina Emanuella Jenkins, 20 years old...born on the fourth of July--and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, Mr., because there were. 'Who's are little patriot?' they'd say when I was younger, and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now."
I am a huge fan of Cordelia Chase and the arch that character took from Buffy Episode One through the last season of Angel. LOVE what they were able to get out of that character.
PS- I just read that there is only one character who appears for the entire legnth of the series life, from Buffy presentation reel to the last episode of Angel. Not the answer I would have immediately thought of...

I always thought is was great how Cordelia moved from someone you loved to hate to someone you just loved...
Wonderful character developement!

Ok boys, I'm getting off for the day. Signing off, that is.
We'll talk tomorrow.
See you at home Stritchy. Mwah!

Bye, Maniac!
"Hush" is on now! Don't you just love to sing
"Can't even shout, can't even cry
The gentlemen are coming by
Looking in windows, knocking on doors
They need to take seven and they might take yours
Can't call to mom, can't say a word
You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard."
when you're somewhere where there is lots of reverb??

Very Nightmare on Elm Street.
Though I will admitt it is one of the least song Buffy songs on my part.
Full of Grace when ever I'm on a bus
Under Your Spell in parks
EVERY TIME
And most listened to on the iPod are those two and Spell/Standing Reprise.
I love my whole Buffy playlist, though. Anyone else wish we had a full version released of Julie Benz singing "Ill Wind" as Darla on Angel.
I think we'll have to talk playlists tomorrow, when everyone comes back. I'm signing off too in a few minutes.

For a moment - to go back to a least favorite episode, I think mine would have to be "Empty Places". If I'm remembering the episodes clearly, this was the one where everybody, including Giles and the Scoobies, all decided that Buffy was not to be trusted and they (at least the potentials) decided to follow Faith.
The Potentials (read KENNEDY) were just plain annoying but to have the others lose faith in Buffy was just too much. It made them all look incredibly stupid. I wanted Buffy to leave Sunnydale altogether and not bother coming back!
"Touched" (just after it) was almost as bad. At least Spike had some good moments.
A click for life.

Okay, so let's talk favourite songs...
Virgin State of Mind by K's Choice ("Doppelgangland")
Full of Grace by Sarah McLachlan ("Becoming" (Part 2))
Slayer's Elegy by Christophe Beck ("The Wish")
Lucky by Bif Naked ("The Harsh Light of Day")
Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns ("Hush")
Freebird performed by Anthony Steward Head ("The Yoko Factor")
Sacrifice by Christophe Beck ("The Gift")
I Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Melanie Doane ("Family")
Under Your Spell ("Once More, With Feeling")
Under Your Spell / Standing (Reprise) ("Once More, With Feeling")
Prayer of St. Francis by Sarah McLachlan ("Grave")
The Final Fight by Rob Duncan ("Chosen")
GOD, there are too many to list them all!
One of the most heartbreaking moments of the show is in "Forever", when Giles listens to the song he and Jocye listened to in "Band Candy" after Joyce died the episode before.

No Dingoes At My Baby in that list, Guy?!?!
Mamie, I have to agree. I hated the Potentials. In fact, the only one I liked (the tall girl, originally from "Freaks and Geeks") never seemed to have a significant presence beyond the episode that featured her and I hated that.

Actually, I'm ashamed to say I don't really own anything except OMWF so I don't know a lot of the songs played on episodes. *shame*

Posted: 8/18/06 at 9:48amI don't own the "official" OMWF recording. I don't know how the recording was made, cause it sounds like the real deal, but a friend of my mothers gave it to me like a week after OMWF originally aired.

Shh, it's our little secret. When I first got into Buffy, I was still a big ol' faggot and only bought musicals on CD.
